We Promised.... But What Happened?

*1:45 PM End of School Day*

"Whew today has been a day for the books." Jacky said as they all walked to their lockers getting ready to head home.

"You ain't lying. But let's talk about Miss Mathematician here, challenging Mrs. Dawns. Girl, I was not expecting you to have such a simple response to her. I was really waiting on Neera to make an appearance and end her." Tam said jokingly

Doe placed her books in her locker, closed it and faced Tam

"Look, I knew what she was trying to do. I figured that she knew I had a side to me that was itching to come out so I decided to turn the tables and just give her Dorinda." Dorinda responded

"Look, I was praying that Neera didn't make and appearance, cause then Quintella would've had to show up and show out." Karen said

"Thanks, but like I said. I'm just here to get my grade and make it to senior year. A teacher like Mrs. Dawns, no matter how intimidating she tries to be is not going to stop me. Now, I'm hungry so let's head over to MOTZ'S and eat." Doe said walking away
Jacky, Tam and Karen stood there looking shocked as Doe walked away.

"Oh wow, I'm kinda liking this new and improved Dorinda." Tam said

"Me too." Jacky and Karen agreed

"But we still keep our guards up and keep an eye out. We don't want her to have a breakdown trying to keep this fącade up." Jacky said

"You're right. Come on let's go eat." Karen said as they went to catch up with Doe

MOTZ'S BURGERS

Arriving at MOTZ'S, the girls sat at their favorite booth and looked at the menu.

"I just want fries and a milkshake." Everyone said collectively

"Okay, well we can order the mega fry basket then." Karen said

The waitress approached their table where they ordered the fries and their milkshakes. Karen and Tam ordering Cookies N Cream, Doe a strawberry and Jacky a vanilla with extra cherries.

After the waitress left, they decided to chat a bit about their classes. In the middle of the conversation, Doe slumped down in the seat causing the others to look confused.

"Doe what are you doing?" Jacky asked

"There's Mrs. Dawns." Doe said trying to hide and use Tams braids as a disguise.

"What is she doing in this neighborhood?" Tam asked

"It's bad enough, we started off on the wrong foot on the first day which by the way was definitely not my fault. But now I'm seeing her outside of school!?" Doe said whining

"First off, stop whining. Secondly, get up. And lastly, she can't even see us like that." Karen said pulling Doe up

"Fine. Let's just pretend we're statues." Doe said as she struck a robot pose

"You are the definition of the special." Karen looked at her sideways

"Yeah. Special Ed." Jacky said as Karen and Tam high five her

Their fries and milkshakes arrived and they begin eating.

"Uh oh I think she saw us. She's heading this way." Tam said as she looked up

"Hide me." Doe said

"Doe, pls. Let's not." Karen said

Mrs. Dawns approached the table and spoke to her students
