*Sabines POV*

Usually I awake to sunlight streaming in through my car window, but not today.

When I woke up this time, I wasn't even sure my eyes had successfully opened. Maybe Harry put a blindfold on me? I pawed at me head, and felt nothing. The room around me was complete darkness.

This was yet another disadvantage about cheetahs, our eyes were meant to block out the light when we run, not see in the dark, unlike many other predators.

I put a few paws forward, and felt nothing but the matress under my paws. A few more steps....

THUMP!

I face planted into the ground, my nose rubbing into the floor.

Letting out an aggravated hiss, I rubbed my nose while picking myself up.

That's when a chuckle sounded in the air.

I froze, my body tensing up. Hesitantly sniffing the air, I couldn't pick up any scent.

What the Hell?

My imagination started to wander, maybe this place is haunted. Oh God what if they've killed girls like me here!?

I glanced around, but still all that remained in my vision was darkness, stupid windowless room!

Something suddenly brushed against my leg, and, doing what any frightened cat would do, I screeched while batting my claws at where the unknown thing should be standing.

Ow! A familiar voice whined in my head, amusement showing through.

Niall?! I questioned, fear slowly turning into anger.

The light was flicked on, blinding me for a second, before I saw the stocky mountain lion staring at me with quizzical blue eyes.

His tawny smooth fur shined in the bright light of my room, and walking up next to him, I could tell he was probably a few inches shorter than Harry's jaguar, but still, he towered over me.

Like what you see? Niall asked, catching me checking him out.

Like what you see? I shot back, for his blue orbs were indeed scanning over my body, but unlike me, he made no move to hide it.

Quite. He admitted.

I looked down at the ground, surprised at his comment, and scuffled my paws over the floor.

Why were you in my room while it was completely dark? I wondered, trying to steer the conversation away from me.

The tawny cougar looked taken back, not expecting my question.

Well...um....you see...Iwantedtoscareyouwhenyouwokeup..... He said quickly.

I rolled my eyes at him. You're so immature!

He gave me a sheepish grin.

Hay I have another question... I began, remembering something else.

What Is this? Twenty questions? Niall asked, amusement in his voice.

Why don't you or any of the boys have a scent? It annoys me and my cheetah. I growled, ignoring his joke.
