TW: DROWNING/ MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH
-a week later, same POV, the whole book might as well be from the narrator's POV-
"I'm bored" V said suddenly. "Wanna go to the lake?" Duke asked. "What lake?" asked V in response. "The lake that's in a clearing in the forest!" Duke replied excitedly . "Sounds fun, let's go!" V replied with the same tone of voice.
-at the lake-
"wow, this place is epic!" "It really is! can you swim?" "uh- i actually can't-" "well- that's too bad" Duke' said his eye gleaming red, then he pushed V into the lake, as they screamed.
-POV change, V's POV-
He pushed me into the lake. I can't swim. Yet i still try to go to the surface. I can't. I'm too weak. I can hear muffled laughter from the lake shore. I won't open my mouth. I won't let the water in. I've got to try get back up to land. Every movement i make is weaker than the last. I can't reach the surface. Down i go. Down. Down. Down. Until i reach the lake floor. I can't do this anymore. I gasp for air. But none comes. I can feel the water enter my lungs. Soon, everything goes to black as i feel my conciseness fade... I guess this is goodbye... at least i had a great time the past few months...
-POV change, Duke's POV-
I can't believe this. I pushed V into the lake. Oh no, the others are gonna be so mad. I need to get V. They sank to the bottom. I go to retrieve V from the lake floor. I take them back up to the surface. I check their pulse. Oh no... they're dead...and it's all MY FAULT. What am i going to tell the others?! i guess i'll just have to say the truth... this won't end well.. {well, chapter 11 and the main character is dead. this is great. also i wrote this without even tearing up. idk if that's a good thing or not- oh well, hope you enjoyed, good byeee!}
