Chapter Twenty Seven|Cuddles & Macaroons

I wake up with a gasp from my nightmare, its always about Chel getting kidnapped with me; helpless or Kayden's fans attacking me, with me; still helpless. I don't know what's with me being helpless in my nightmare. Actually that's why it's nightmare since I'm vulnerable in them.

"Hey Sky, what happened? You okay?" His husky voice beside me, I turn around to face him & smile tracing my index finger on his facial features. When my finger reaches his lips he softly bites making me giggle.

"Nothing. Just the usual nightmares."

"Oh, which one was it this time?"

"Chelsea."

"It's okay," he assured, "come here, let's get you back to sleep." He pulls me towards him as my face collides against his chest making me laugh.

After a few minutes I say, "what if I'm not sleepy?" I look up at him to find his eyes closed with a soft smile on his face.

"Then, stare at my handsome face." I laugh & slap his bicep playfully, "What? I'm serious. I'm giving you the golden opportunity to stare at this handsome face." I continue laughing & wrap my arms around his torso then sigh softly, feeling contented. Kayden always makes me feel safe & happy.

Though it's only been three months since I know him, it feels like I know him since forever & feel something more than liking him. Maybe... love?

I never thought of taking a step forward in our relationship since I'm happy with what we're right now. But now it seems like I want more, I want to declare that he is mine, I want to confess how important he is for me. Moreover I wanna tell him that maybe I love him.

Eh...

Wouldn't it be weird? I mean just imagine me telling him, 'Kayden, Maybe I'm in love with you.' That would be so weird & awkward & embarrassing. So it would be better if I confess after I'm sure of my feelings. Yeah that's much better.

"You still awake?" He asks while snuggling his nose into my neck.

I nod, "still can't sleep."

"Hm, wanna go for a walk or something?"

"Nah, I'll try. If not possible then let's go."

"Okay," He whispers & plants a kiss on my neck. After a minute or so he starts singing a verse, which I haven't heard until now,

"I saw your car zoom past mine.
Though I didn't knew it was you.
I pressed the accelerator,

Hoping to over take you.
But girl, little did I know (that)
I always wanted us to be with one accord.
I followed your wheels only to realise,
We both had same destination." (A/N: not a real song)

He stopped singing as I stared at him with shock, he wrote a song about our first acquaintance. "Y-you wrote a song about..." I trailed off.

"Yeah I did, I just wrote the first verse & pre chorus."

"That's-that's amazing!" He laughed & hugged me tighter.

"come on now, sleep baby." As so he said that I felt my eyes getting heavy & in no time I was out like the light.

I step out of my bathroom & walk into my wardrobe then put on comfortable pjs & tee. Then walk down the stairs, into the kitchen grabbing an apple.

Today I went to school with Kayden because he wanted to, it was a silly reason but I didn't care less. Well who would if you get to spend more time with your boyfriend. Then rest if the day in school went well except for the fact that school was all giddy realising that I came with Kayden today. Pfft.
