Chapter Thirty Two| Sweet punishment

Skylar speaking." answer my phone as I pause my Netflix movie while stuffing my mouth with popcorn. It's a Saturday after all.

'Hey, this is Theo.'

"Oh hey Theo."

'Hey, so I just called to tell ya that there is this big race tonight. You in?'

"Sure!"

'So shall I text ya the address cause it's not in its usual place.'

"Oh, okay. Thanks."

'No problem see ya tonight.' He hung up as I resume my movie but soon I remember that I should get my car serviced. So I switch off the tv & get ready wearing a coat above my crop top & ripped jeans. After grabbing my wallet, key & phone I exit my house informing mom.

Then drive towards the new garage, I hand over my car towards a mechanic and tell him the changes needed. Then put on my Airpods & listen to Honey by Cutts.

I hum to the song then it changes to Bonnie and Clyde by YUQI. I continue listening to music when Kayden's Upside down starts playing, I sigh remembering why he wrote that. But then I started thinking if I loved him.

Do I want to take a step forward in our relationship?
Do I want to continue our relationship even after graduating? Do I wanted to study in UCLA?
Do I love him?

Ehhhh!

Not those thoughts again.

I change the song & force myself to not think about it. After my car is serviced I pay for it then drive back slowly as I notice a black Jeep following every turn I take. Huh. I press my accelerator & turn my steering wheel towards left opposite to my house's way.

I smirk & keep on circling, meaning I join the original road I was on then again take left but soon I sigh realising they don't plan on leaving me even after following me around for five rounds on the same path.
I call Kayden as I turn drive straight this time instead of taking a right. 'Hey Oli.' His manly voice greeted me as he picked.

"Hi, This is very important so pull everyone into an urgent conference call."

'Whoa.... okay gimme a minute.' I start driving towards the outskirts of the town at a moderate speed while I wait for Kayden to pull everyone into the conference call.

'Why is this a conference call?' I hear Carter ask. I roll my eyes, of course Kayden will call Carter first. Best friend behaviour.

"Let everyone join, I'll tell."

'What's up bitches?' I hear Criss says, I shake my head. Always a badass girl.

'Conference?' I hear Astrid's sweet voice. Then Theo joins & I immediately start speaking, "now listen up. First of all grab you car keys & start driving the empty warehouse at the outskirts of the city."

'What? Why?' Everyone asks together.

"first do this while being on the call. Up & walk!" I hear shuffling as I resume talking, "I've a black Jeep following me which isn't thinking of leaving me alone so I'm directing it towards the outskirts of the city. I can't handle 'em alone since I don't know what all weapons they are carrying so I want you there. Plus if they turn out to be Xyion's men we would p've more witnesses."

'Babe that's crazy!' Criss exclaims, 'it's extremely dangerous for you.'

'Yeah Skylar, plus you already have enough witnesses. Why do you need more.'
