Autumn's POV
I felt like I was being watched all night. I thought maybe it had something to do with last night, but the looks didn't feel the same. This felt creepy, chill after chill spiking down my backside.

And I was right. When I saw Sin walk into the nightclub something in my gut told me to get out of there.

I was almost safely out the door when his eyes fixated on me. His mouth began to move as he pointed to me.

Two of his men started towards me, and I scrambled past the crowd of people trying to get into the club. My heart was pounding, my chest tight.

I felt around my pants for my phone, but all I felt were flat, empty pockets.

Damn it!

Refusing to glance back, I raced to my parked car. I didn't care that my calves ached, or my breathing was becoming more and more difficult.

I was willing to push myself to the absolute edge if it meant I'd get to live another day.

I opened my car door, only for it to be yanked free from my grasp. Someone's strong arms jerked me back and out of reach. My only chance of getting out of here was gone, but I didn't give up.

I swung my arms hoping to hit something -anything- as I kicked and screamed against his firm hold. "Let go of me!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

He ignored me, carried me over to a black van where another man opened the door from the inside and shoved me in. My hands and feet were tied up with zip ties, duck tape slapped onto my mouth.

No, this can't be happening.

I stared at Sin's smug little face, wanting to spit at him. And would have too, had this tape not been blocking every insulting word that popped into my head.

Asshole!

Italian-shrimp-dicked-bastard!

Cock sucking mosquito!

He's nothing but the lint in Satan's belly button. I had plenty more insults, but decided to save them until he could actually hear them.

The one who had carried me to the vehicle is handed a syrine needle by another man.

I squirm against him, knowing it won't help much. The needle pierces the flesh of my arm, resulting in a slight yelp from me.

Seconds later, my eyes lids grow heavy. I try and fight the sleep coming on, but have no such luck. I give in, allowing the darkness to consume me.

****

My eyes fly open, darting around the dark room I'm currently in. I shift, only to be burned by the tight zip ties around my wrists.

A bright light coming from a lamp blinds my vision. Averting my gaze, I look around the empty room for a way to escape. Nothing.

Damn it!

"Please!" I hear a women's voice shout from the distance. "I did everything you asked." She begins to sob. "You promised to let me go." The frail, terrified voice sounds oddly familar.

It's Sin's voice I hear next. "I make a lot of promises. You aren't special."

They round the corner, and my eyes widen. It's Jess! Or it looks like Jess. Her blonde hair is thin, patches of scalp visible. She's alarmingly thin, her bones stretching against her pale skin.

Her blue eyes flicker to me. She doesn't look surprised in the slightest to see me. In fact, she looks more sad and disappointed.

Sin aggressively shoves her in my direction, and she falls to her knees in front of me. I want to reach out and grab her, embrace her, but I can't move. Not with theses restraints chaffing my skin.
