Jade walked out of the police station when a call came in.
"Hello dear." He placed his phone behind his ear for easy hearing.
"Haven't you seen her yet? I couldn't sleep all night because of this. Her parents called me... They're freaking worried." Confusion laced Zoey's face as she spoke.
"Oh my gosh!" Jade hissed out in a grim. "I just reported the case to the police. I hope they find any trace soon because she felt her phone behind. Or... do you have any idea where she might be?!"
I have no fucking Idea, Jade. Sapphire is kind and gentle. She don't keep secrets and she lived a very fulfilled and satisfied life before she met you! I'm a big fan of your romance story but I'm going to end it if I find out you're really behind this! Sapphire is her parents only child, Jade! If they find out about this what do you expect me to say to them?!"
Jade's mind went blank for a moment. He didn't know what to say to calm her down. Jade has never pleaded to anyone before. He's not used to.
"I'm... I'm sorry this happened, Zoey. But I promise to find her within the next 24 hours."
"Better!" She hissed and instantly ended the call.
"H..hello!" Jade muttered but the electronic beeping indicated that she'd cut the call.
"Fuck! What have I gotten myself in to?" He scratched his front her in the puzzlement. Jade gently nibbled on his lower lips that felt gal bitter and bone dry, as he find his way into his white SUV car.
About to start the car, closed his eyes as he buried his face into his palms. He had to take a moment to think about who might be behind this.
'Zoey is right. Sapphire had a happy life before I came to destroy it. I just hope she's safe where ever she is.' Jade pondered on the thought once more.
'Yes... Denver!' The thought of him dropping Sapphire off come to his mind. Especially about his last words on Sapphire.
"...Next time, I'd take her away from you. Forever."
The annoying snicker that Denver gave, echoed out of Jade's memories like pictures from an old movie.
"I would find you, Denver. And I would expose you.' Jade cursed in his mind as he started his car and placed his foot down. He zoomed into the busy road, overtaking others with biting anger and fury flooded in his eyes that were already turning red.
Getting to a point, the traffic light pointed red. Every road user stopped except for the young CEO. He immediately took a U-turn, passing another lane. Although, everyone gave him weird glances but he didn't care. At this point, the only thing on Jade's mind was Sapphire's safety. He speed up, not wasting another minute on the busy road. Jade chewed on his jaws as irritation plastered on his sullen face.

Jade gave a sharp swerve into the parking lot as he walked into CBRE company. He parked his car and walked into the first floor of the tall skyscraper.
The sound of Jade's shiny-black, leather brogues knocked against the marbled floor as if it expressed the amount of intensity heating up within him.
"Hello dear. Is your boss in?"
The receptionist who was confused raised her eyes at him in puzzlement. Trying to cross the T's in connecting where she'd seen his face before.
Jade handed her his Identification card immediately.
"Oh, he's in." He stammered in an apologetic manner. "Just a minute, please."
The young lady took the AT&T corded phone on her table to dial his contact but Jade was rather impatient. He just walked into before him which was tagged CEO on the front door.
