Dick laid on a rectangle inflatable floaty, sunglasses on with a faint smile on his face enjoying the California sun. Reaching for his beer in the inflatable floaty cup, small feet start running towards the pool getting ready to jump in but before he does the kid shouts, "Daddy!"
The kid makes a splash making Dick fall into the pool and using his floaties the kid swims away to be able to run back into the house. All while Dick swims to the surface and playfully shouts, "You're gonna pay for that! You've disturbed the beast! There's no escape. Nothing can save you now!"
Being chased into the house the kid runs up the stairs and shouts at a certain blonde, "Mommy! Save me!"
"Hi!" Dawn happily greets her son as he goes to hug her pregnant belly "Oh, my gosh! You're soaking wet!"
Dick no longer running after his son greets Dawn with a kiss making the women comment, "So are you."
"It's all his fault, isn't it?" Dick asks his son who was soaking wet
"No!" Johnny exclaims walking over to the rooms cabinet to take off his arm floaties and set them down while his dad walks over with a towel to dry off his wet hair
Johnny Grayson, named after Dicks dad, was almost five years old and loved by his two parents. Dawn and Dick had gotten back together soon after she'd woken up from her hospital coma, after that everything was the tale of happily ever after
"Honey, now that I have you here, Winter Shamrock or Mango Tango?" Dawn asks holding up two paint color samples
"You don't wanna wait until we find out what it is?" Dick asks still drying his son's hair
"Silly me. Here I thought we were having a human," Dawn seriously states making Dick laugh
"Do less comedy. Seriously."
"I'm gonna do more comedy," Dawn says as she rubs her heavily pregnant belly walking over to get more color samples "I don't wanna do the whole boy means blue, girl means pink thing again. Besides, once we know what it is, we're gonna be so busy, we're not gonna have time to paint. I want this whole room done and cleared out by this week."
"I want a sister," Johnny shares as he holds a penguin and a tiger stuffed animal
"You do?" Dawn questions with a smile
"That's awesome, buddy, but sometimes we don't get to choose what we want. We get what we get," Dick tells his son a verry important life lesson and almost misses Dawn dropping a plugged-in lamp from the nightstand she was moving on her own "Whoa! Look out! Whoa!"
