Upon returning to Hogwarts for their fourth year, after an eventful summer spent at the disaster that was the 422nd Quidditch World Cup, Maddie and Ron still find themselves placed as each other's Potions partners.
Ron might not be dreading it as much this time, as he has bigger fish to fry - what with his best friend being picked for a ruthless tournament that has made its way back to Hogwarts after so many years.
Plus, it would be weird if Maddie and Ron weren't just a little bit closer after the huge incident they'd wound up in the previous year, involving Sirius Black and his innocence.
So much for Snape's theory that suggests sitting them next to each other prevents chaos. But that's on him - what was he thinking, really, putting a Jordan and a Weasley together?
