Many members of the group gasped at the interior of the hotel as we entered. They hadn't seen anything like it. I'd seen it before-in books, pictures, even once in real life. But it was different; seeing them as they should be. The lady at the front desk stared at the six of us in confusion, however welcomed us in what I could only assume to be German. Lori; being the only German speaker I knew of, responded in the language with grace. She didn't stumble over her words but spoke calmly, not at all showing the nervousness I'm sure she felt. I knew only a bit of the language, simple words. However, I'd never need to speak it. We had our translator. The woman nodded at Lori's response, then typed a few things on a keyboard. Shortly after, she said something else to Lori before handing her two flat cards-hilariously nicknamed keycards, because of their use. The others stared at them in bewilderment. In our time, we didn't need keycards because of skillfully hidden scanners of which used a technology that the government had created. It simply scanned the digital IDs that were used as connectors to a Screen and other digital products. We did not need cards at all. Lori was about to ask her what they were for, but instead shut her mouth and paid with the money I stole. We headed to the assigned numbers that marked the hotel rooms.

"How do we open the doors?" Lori asked, trying to open both doors with no success. I grabbed the keycards from out of her hand and studied them. On the door, there was a slot. I slipped one of the cards into it and the contraption clicked. I tried the door. This time, it opened to reveal a room with three beds. Lori looked at me in shock as I handed the other card back to her. I walked into the room and claimed one of the beds. It was comfortable, but also in our price range, which, unfortunately, was fairly low. After we got settled in, the six of us met up in one room.

"So, what are we gonna do?" Mark asked, digging through his bag.

"We have this letter," Lori pointed to it. "I read through it earlier and it says that we have contacts who are 'believers' and that they can provide safety and help get us to our destinations. It said that we aren't trying to prevent the virus, but instead, prevent governmental tension. I'm not sure how much we can do, though."

"It seems pretty impossible for a bunch of kids to do." Someone else, I think their name was Marco, said. I was just looking forward to being able to graduate before all this stuff, so I understood his point. It seemed as if there was nothing we could do. But, one never could know. One event changed the course of history, I know that for sure. And I miss the world I knew before that.

A/N-I apologize for the long wait and the short chapter...but I just thought of this today and I think I'll go with it!

First question: What do you think our narrator of this chapter (Luna--and yes it is a name for a human person) has to hide? Rather, that you guys don't know yet?

Second question: I know I said that this has something to do with zodiacs (I know some are obvious) but, which sign do you think each character is (by the way, I don't have the 13th sign as a character of the twelve cuz I like the old zodiac)?

Also, I'm kinda going through a tough time (writer-wise) and I'm having trouble coming up with ideas so there might not be another chapter for a little while, but never fear! I shall return!

Two days until my birthday!! Why am I excited!!

Adios Y'all!
