Ken's
Hindi lang secretary ang nakuha ko bodyguard din.
"Josh this is Justin. Justin this is Josh" pagpapakilala ko sakanila.
"Si Josh ang maglilibot sa'yo dito para hindi ka maligaw" sambit ko.
"Nice to meet you, Justin" pormal na sabi ni Josh.
"Nice to meet you too!"
"Let's go? I'll tour you around bago ka bumalik dito sa office ni sir" ani ni Josh bago lumabas sa pinto ng office ko at sumunod naman si Justin.
I am busy doing my CEO things job and then I heard some knocks on my office's door.
"Come in" I said, not minding who's knocking.
"Josh wants me to give this to you, sir"
He's here. He's voice is really something, it makes me calm and para bang lahat ng pagod ko ay nawawala.
"What's that?" I asked.
"Papers, sir. Kailangan daw po ng pirma niyo" he said handling me the papers.
"I already told you not to call me sir when it's just the two of us, remember?"
"Yes sir but we're in your office and company sir."
Arghhh this guy!!
"Fine, pero pag tayong dalawa lang at wala tayo sa company you don't have to call me sir, hmm?"
"Noted po sir"
I get the papers he's giving me and I start signing it.
"Ang laki po pala ng company niyo sir, I didn't know you're this rich RICH"
He said out of the blue.
"Yeah my father passed it to me when he died last year"
"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that"
"No, it's okay. I'm fine now"
Silence.
"Do you have plans after work?" I asked after I finished signing the papers.
"Yes, Bibisitahin ko si nanay mamaya, sir"
"We'll go together, I wan to check if she's doing fine. And her operation will start tomorrow right?" I asked, he hummed a yes while nodding.
"Let's go buy some fruits before visiting her"
"Sir, I think it's too much. You already paid her hospital bills and now you're buying him fruits, I'll handle it na po"
"No. Kulang pa nga 'yon eh for accepting my offer to be my secretary and a bodyguard" I said, half smiling.
Hindi na siya nagsalita pa.
"Let's go?" tanong ko at tumingin sa kinauupuan niya.
"To where?"
"Uh.. grocery?"
"Tara, I'll drive"
"You can drive?" I said, amaze.
"Siyempre naman" he said.
"Okay, make sure na hindi ako mamamatay ha. Madami pa akong plano sa buhay" and that includes you, jah
I don't have the courage to said those.
