Arriving home as late as she did, it was no surprise that Talulla's mother felt a bit mad at her. She found her mother sitting in the kitchen, tapping away at the counter as she waited for Talulla to arrive at any given moment. And once she did, there was no wait for the questioning she'd have for her daughter.

With her arms crossed over her chest, Marina Ito asked her daughter, "Now, where have you been, young lady?"

Talulla sighed, setting her books and bag on the kitchen island, "Don't worry, Mom. I was just at the library with Stiles. We have a bunch of the same classes, so he wanted to get together to go over the syllabi and what not." Talulla grabbed a cup of water while speaking, feeling the dryness of her throat leave as she swallowed the cool liquid.

"I'm quite surprised at the friendship you and Stiles have nowadays. You two practically hated each other when you were younger. I even remember the one time he got gum in your hair. You got so mad that you chewed your own piece and put it as close to his scalp as possible. You know, you're probably the reason that boy had a buzzcut for so long." Marina reminisced on the times of when her daughter and the young Stilinski would fight constantly. She walked around slowly, picking up any lingering trash.
