After the last few days, Talulla couldn't help but let her issues overcome her. Her exhaustion was evident by her dark circles and the way her body sunk sluggishly throughout the day. And yet as she lay in the darkness of her room, sleep would not consume her. She did nothing but toss and turn, an uncomfortable feeling continuing to settle within her.

She slammed down onto her back, heaving a heavy sigh of frustration. It felt like her mind was in a million places at once. Talulla couldn't grasp onto a single thought that lingered in her mind. And she somehow could feel an emotion she was sure wasn't hers. A feeling of bloodlust loitering beneath the surface of her mind.

Of course, Talulla knew there was no way what happened to her would end when she decided. She knew the Dread Doctors had more in store for her, that the other chimeras were still fighting against not only her, but her friends as well. There was still a connection between Talulla and them, including whoever was The Beast. She couldn't be too sure, but Talulla hoped she wasn't the only chimera feeling some sort of connection to it.

Parrish obviously had some weird connection with it, but it made sense because he was the hellhound. Talulla having a connection to it, now that was something she wouldn't be able to answer on her own, no matter how magical she was. She knew that was something she would have to go and find the answers for.

Suddenly it felt like a jolt of electricity hit her body, and for some reason, she knew she had to leave the comfort of her bedroom. It felt like some invisible string was tugging her towards a place she knew very well, though the owner of the string felt like an outsider. It felt like someone she was not meant to be following. But, there were many things she knew she shouldn't have followed and done so anyway, so what was going to stop her now?

The trek from her home to the high school wasn't too far. She ran the whole way there, feeling the cool breeze and marveling at the way her body no longer needed minutes to recover from activity like that. Talulla reached the farther side of the school, hearing a small scuttle not much further ahead of her.

It was unsettling, the sounds she heard. The tearing of flesh and the deep, ferocious breathing that accompanied it. She peeked out of the corner, somehow silently getting towards the bright yellow bus that held a sight not even she thought she could handle. To be honest, her curiosity to understand what was going on with herself in this situation, and now that she was here she kind of regretted it.

But, Talulla knew she had to be strong, not just for herself, but for everyone around her. Right now was not the time for her to breakdown about everything that happened to her in the past month or so. Now was the time for her to take action, to try and save the people she loved, the time to figure out everything about herself and the dread doctors and whatever they're hoping to achieve.

But as the Beast closed in, fear overcame her and her powers went a little haywire. Her body was invisible, not ideal, but she could use this to her advantage. As soon as the Beast jumped out of the bus, her invisible body attacked. She couldn't really make out what was happening when she did.

Talulla attempted to grab onto it, but it's body was so smoky, she found it slightly difficult. She was thrashed around as she attempted to cling onto the Beasts' body. And with one final loud growl, the Beast slammed her into the ground and slashed at her arms. The blunt force caused her invisibility to falter, her now becoming visible to four men that not even she knew were there.

The pain didn't register until a few seconds later as she stared at the crimson blood flowing out of her arm. Talulla felt like she couldn't move, as if all time had paused in this very moment. Her body finally caved into the exhaustion, and just before her vision went dark, the last thing she saw was Stiles, Scott, Liam, and Chris all looking down towards her.

When she came to, it felt like no time had passed, and somehow, she was still as exhausted as before. Talulla noticed two things though. One, it was quiet, very quiet, and two, her pain was gone. There were no signs of blood or injury on her arm, it looked as if nothing had even happened to her the night prior. She wasn't surprised, her body was now able to heal twice as fast as usual, but for some reason she knew those injuries would've healed differently had Scott not have been there last night.

It was no brainer that Scott had helped ease her pain, it was something he never shied away from doing. And maybe the note from Stiles that sat on her nightstand helped her figure that one out. The note read:

Not quite sure what happened last night, but we've got to figure some stuff out. I'll be at the school tonight for the game, but don't feel the need to show up. I can see how all of this is effecting you. Remember, you don't have to keep it all to yourself. I'm right here.

P.S. Scott helped you heal from those gnarly scratches, next time please don't put yourself in danger like that.

He didn't want her at the game? Talulla wasn't sure how that should make her feel. Was it to protect her from some massive plan happening that night or did he just not want to see her after what happened last night? No matter what, she knew there was absolutely no way she wouldn't show up at the game tonight. Basically the whole town in one spot for a few hours, that sounded like an all you can eat buffet that no monster would ever pass up. Like hell she wouldn't be there.

Like hell she wouldn't be there
