Talulla stood with the rest of the pack in Scott's living room, minus Liam and Mason. Multiple copies of The Dread Doctors' book laid out in front of them, the original laid not far above them on the table as well. She felt exhausted, terrified, and, most of all, anxious. Talulla had been having trouble sleeping, especially after the night in Eichen House. Her dark circles and eye bags had once again began to pull through on her face.

"My mom's book club usually has more wine." Lydia states as a sort of joke.

"Well, they also probably didn't read books that cause violent hallucinations."

"That's why Malia's here."

"So none of us go running into traffic?"

"Or worse."

Malia looks down towards the table, "Like what happened to Judy." Everybody gives her confused looks, "Chapter fourteen."

Lydia reaches down and grabs the original copy, flipping through, "Maybe I should have my mother read it. She might remember a girl with a tail leaping off the ceiling and attacking everyone."

"Alright, if it works."

"It has to." Lydia responds, eyeing the book cover.

Talulla looks towards the strawberry blonde, "What does that mean?"
