When the Grail war is nearing its end, the completion of their goals came close to reach, Fate play its final ace against the Servants of old in the form of a monster

A guttural roar pierced the dark sky of Fuyuki. The Eldritch God summoned using the combination of Prelati's and Caster's sacrifice has awakened in a last ditch effort to enact their revenge. Down on the falling ship, Saber, Irisviel, and Avenger clung unto the the metal railing

Impossible

The thoughts ran through their mind, almost at the same time as they gazed down at the city. Screams rang through every street, and everything within a vicinit of 2 km around them collapsed without resistance

With but a single shriek, madness descends on Fuyuki. Their ears rang with whispers of ancient magic beyond human comprehension, summoned forth from the darkest depth of the abyss

Can such a creature be summoned?

Saber's grip on her sword tightened. She glanced at the other duo of Servants and Masters, before looking back at the other side of the airship.

Her Master is absent. Since five minutes ago, any contact with him have been lost, just before she warned him of the danger from Prelati's summoning

With a heavy heart, the Servant could only hope he made it here before the eventual end.

"You fucked up"

How terribly straightforward, I thought. I could feel the amount of tiredness in Merlin's voice as the man palmed his face before me

The familiar scenery of Britain around us is still the same from the last time I saw him. The same swaying grass, cloudless sky, but Artoria can no longer be seen amidst the grassy plain.

My last memories were me speaking to her prior to the moment Artoria pull the sword.

"I suppose the timeline must have somehow changed because of me?" Looking around, I focus back on him. The man, in turn, snorted

"Well, that or an omnipotent manifestation of god reverse the spatial order of the universe on accident. Which do you think is the case here?"

"..."

"It's you, Emiya"

"I'm not apologizing"

I aimed the Contender, but the Wizard's hand moved in front of the barrel, signalling me to stop

"Calm down. This result is expected from the start. You're an abnormality, you know that?"

"Said the immortal wizard"

"I mean, you're not from this world" Merlin smiled "It doesn't take me much to figure out. My Clairvoyance is all messed up when it comes to you, and I can't predict the future well anymore"

Merlin's EX-rank Clairvoyance is beyond human capability, capable of predicting the past and future. Yet Kiritsugu Emiya's anomalous presence had distorted that initial timeline to the point of no recognition

After a moment of silence, he continued

"Quantum Time Lock exists to stabilize the structure of the right timeline. Without them, this timeline should have been pruned and turned into a dead Singularity"
