Incident #1: "Improvisation"
Crimson Set Main Characters:
Choi Beom-seok: Special Investigator from the Korean National Police Agency (played by Park Seo-joon)
Choi Chin-sun: Little Sister of Beom-seok, suffers from a rare form of bipolar disorder, honours student (played by Seoyeon)
Lee Iseul: Grandaughter of Seoul's Underworld King, suffers from mild obsessive love disorder (played by Bae Suzy)
Lee Tae-ho: Little Brother of Iseul, classmate of Chin-sun
'Twas the fifth day of shooting for the K-Drama Crimson and set director Bong Joon-ho was having a little trouble coming up with a certain interaction between Seo's character and Jungkook's character that wouldn't set the world of social media ablaze with dating rumours between the two and all that good stuff. You see, despite Joon-ho's obvious talent for directing films, Crimson was a whole new challenge because a) it was the first time he was working with two idol actors who were b) from the same group, c) of the opposite sex to one another and d) were basically Dispatch's wet dream of a couple news tabloid and the concern of all of South Korea's population.
Thus, Joon-ho decided that it was best for Jungkook to act "naturally" around Seo and let the scene develop itself. Little did he know that this was about to become one of the most viral moments in K-drama history.
Jungkook's POV:
*Reading the script for the scene
"The f*ck does "improv" mean?"
"It means think of it on the spot dumbass"
"Shut up"
"U better not mess this up cuz I want to go home and eat fried chicken"
"Glad we're on the same page she devil, I just so happen to desire some banana milk at the moment so no I won't mess this up."
"Don't try anything funny Jungkook, or I'll destroy your banana milk."
"You wish you could reach my personal refrigerator."
"Jungkook!"
"De Seo-joon sunbaenim?"
"Director says keep it normal."
