"Sapnap..?" Dreams voice interrupted my texting, "It's late , what are you doing?"

I'd quickly shoved my phone back on the desk.

"Oh. I just needed a stretch .. Didn't wanna wake you. That's all." I smiled at him , even though he probably couldn't see me.

Truth was , I hadn't slept all night and had been up scrolling through all of the notifications of my parents calling me and texting me. They were worrying about me , even though I told them I was at a friends house.

I got a message from George and decided to talk to him instead.

"Well , are you good now? It's cold." I could feel his confused expression in his voice.

"Um. Yeah." I sighed looking back at my phone , a message I would have to wait till morning to see.. I hated waiting, It would keep me up, "Just give me a second. You can go back to sleep. I'll be with you in a minute, Clay."

I turn back round after hearing him roll around .

I picked back up my phone , turning it on and clicking on my messages with George.

I switched of my phone , placing it silently back on the table and walking back over to the bed.

I quietly lifted up the covers and slipped in. As soon as I did , Dream rolled round to me and held me softly. I felt small and safe in his arms and relaxed, slowly drifting into sleep.

Dream POV *-*

"Good morning," I rolled around and faced Sapnap , who was stood up over my the desk.

He jumped as he heard my voice , "Blmhm- Yep! Hey! Hi! Good afternoon- morning. I meant morning."

I laughed staring at him. I was near tears laughing at this for some reason.

"What the hell was that?" I giggled.

"Nothing." He replied quickly.

I slid out the bed and walked up to him. I held him in my arms , embracing him, before walking over to a pile of clothes at the end of my bed.

"You know.. how.. uh.." Sapnap started , "You know.. George. You don't really hate him.. right..? I mean.. you care.. don't you..?"

My whole body went stiff as he said George's name.

"Look. I don't wanna talk about his right now , Nick." I answered coldly.

"Please, Clay.. You've gotta talk about it at some point. You can't stay made forever!" He pleaded. I scoffed rolling my eyes , slipping on my clothes.

"How about talking about something else. Mia filled me in." I continued sourly , "My dad's coming back in four days."

He forgot about George immediately, saying , "Seriously! But that's.. The dance.. then he comes back.. We won't be able to go to the party!"

"Of course we will." I said turning to Nick, "Didn't you hear me? Dad doesn't control me. I won't let him. So , whatever you do, don't listen to that bitch."

"A-alright.." He said nervously, "What about Ge-"

I held his neck and kissed him before he started talking. He relaxed into it , but when we let go , Sapnap frowned at me.

"Well then , you should get ready , Nicky." I said walking off.

Luckiky things werent too weirf when we wnt to school. We hung out as usual, avoided George, and when we got home , relaxed.

I just wasnt prepared for the dance on Friday..

Parts are definetely going to get shorter!
