Lydia was still laying back on the best starting at the ceiling when Jay and Carlos came in Jay saying "Yo-ho-ho!" Carlos saying "Hey!" Lydia sat up and
Jay asked "Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going over to see the wand?" Mal looked at him saying "Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book. If I hadn't completely struck out?" Jay teased saying "Oh, someone's in a bad mood." Mal snapped "My mom's counting on me! I can't let her down!" Lydia flinched at the snapped which didn't go unnoticed and they looked at her and she bit her lip saying "sorry..." Jay then went back saying "We can do this... If we stick together." Mal said "And we won't go back until we do. Because we're rotten..." And they all said "To the core." Evie then smirked saying "Oh, yeah. I found out that fairy godmother blesses Ben with the wand at coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear, of course. What?" There was a knocks on the door. Mal saying "Hold that thought." She saw her cousin he said "Hey, Mal. I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering If you had any questions or anything... That... you needed..." Mal stood causally saying "Not that I know of." Ben nodded saying "Okay. All right. Well, uh, If you need anything, just, uh..." Mal cut him off saying "Oh, wait! Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation? Ben nodded saying "Yeah, the whole school goes." Mal said "Wow. That is beyond exciting. Do you think that It's a possibility that the five of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?" Ben looked at them saying "I wish you could. Up front It's just me, my folks, and my girlfriend." Mal said "And your girlfriend?" Ben said "Yeah. I'm sorry." Mal nodded saying "Okay. Thanks, bye." She shut the door in his face as he was trying to say something. Lydia giggles at that Mal grabbing her spell book saying "I think It's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend. And I need a love spell." They went to the kitchen and Mal was reading the ingredients for the spell saying "All right. It says that we still need one tear, and I never cry." Lydia bit her lip saying "yep sorry my eyes are all dry." Carlos then said "Let's just chop up some onions." Mal shook her head saying "No. It Says that we need one tear of human sadness. And this love potion gets the best results so we have to follow it exactly." Jay looked at them saying "A tear's a tear." Evie the said "That's not true, Jay. They both have antibodies and enzymes, but an emotional tear has more protein-based hormones than a reflex tear." Lydia looked at her shocked and
Mal said "Listen to you." Jay nodded saying "Yeah, I knew that." Carlos said "Did not." Jay argued back "Yeah, I did." At that time Lonnie came in saying "There you are, Mal! I was looking for you. You know, all the girls want you to do their hair! Midnight snack, huh? What you guys making?" Mal said "Nothing special. Just cookies. Oh, no, no!" She dips her fingers in it and licks it Carlos saying "Wait, wait, wait!" Lonnie looked at them "What? I'm not gonna double dip." Evie asked "Feel anything?" The Jay stood flirty and Lydia rolled her eyes. Mal jumping in saying "Yeah, like maybe it might be missing something?" as Jay said "Hey, there."
Lonnie then said "It could use some chips." Lydia knew exactly what she meant saying "Oh yes right chips!!! I was thinking their was something missing but I couldn't put my finger on it." Jay looked at the girls saying "Chips?" Mal looking at them saying "And those are..." Lonnie grabbing the chocolate chips saying " Chocolate chips Just the most important food group. Wait, didn't your moms ever make you guys, like, chocolate chip cookies? Like, when you're feeling sad, and they're fresh from the oven, with a big old glass of milk, and she just makes you laugh and puts everything into perspective and... why are you all looking at me like that?" Lydia looked over feeling bad because she knew that her experience was different then the others when Lydia was making chocolate chips cookies with her mom. They were teaching them how to be evil and training them to take over the world." Mal looked at them saying "It's just different where we're from." Lonnie said "Yeah, I know. I just, you know, I thought... Even villains love their kids." Lonnie looked over at Lydia and she was giving her a looked that said stop and Lonnie felt horrible saying "Oh... How awful." A tear falls down her cheek and they grabbed it putting it into the mixed they said they needed to get in the oven and they put it there things in the oven after they were done Lydia offered to clean up and they went away she immediately threw the spelled cookies away and made a new batch she was definitely telling Ben so he could act hopeless in love with Mal.

The next morning Lydia pulled Ben asides and said "okay they were planning on love spelling you. I remade all the cookies without the spell however you need to pretend to be in love with Mal." He looked at her saying "I mean that shouldn't be a big issues I was planning on breaking up with Audrey anyways and asking Mal on a date. She nodded saying "yeah yeah...wait what??? You know she is trying to take over Auradon." Ben looked at her saying "she is being controlled by her mother I might be able to get through to her." Lydia rolled her eyes saying "fine fine. Don't fuck this up..." he nodded saying "yep got it." Later that day Ben was at his locker and as they walked up Mal saying "Hey, Bennyboo!" This mad Lydia cringe and Ben turned around saying "Hey."
Mal smile saying "I just made a batch of cookies. Double chocolate chip, do you want one?" Ben said "Oh, I, uh, I've got a big game. I don't eat before a big game. But thank you so, so much. Thank you. Next time. Next time." Mal then looked down saying "No, yeah. I completely understand. Be careful of treats offered by kids of villains." Ben instantly said "No, no, no." Mal then said "No, I'm sure every kid in Auradon knows that." Ben saying "No, that's not it. No, no, no, I... I really do..." Mal saying "No, I get it. You're cautious. That's smart. Oh, well, more for me, I guess." Ben said No, no. Hey... see that?" He took a big bite of the decoy spell cookie Lydia made saying "Totally trust you. Totally." Mal smiled saying "How are they?" Ben nodded saying "They're good. They're great! They're amazing!" That is when Ben started acting that he was being spelled saying "They're, uh... I mean, they're chewy and, and you know, they... is that walnuts? I love walnuts. I mean, uh, you know, the... The chocolate... The... the chocolate... The chocolate chips are... I'm sorry. Um... Uh, they're... They're warm and soft. And they're sweet..." he then looked at her saying "Mal, have you always had those little golden flecks in your eyes?" Lydia had to admit she was impressed by her cousin's acting and that when Jay came up saying "How you feeling, bro?" Ben then said "I feel... I feel... I feel like... Like singing your name. Mal, Mal." They then pulled him away Lydia trying not to die from Laughter as he definitely played the part right. Ben did a whole routine after the game which they won obviously and he asked her to coronation and she said yes. Audrey trying to upstaged but failed which made Lydia laugh. Later after the game Lydia pulled him into the class room saying "well well well dear cousin I'm impressed I didn't think you would be a actor." He laughed saying "well it helps that I do have feelings for Mal. You going to be bring someone to coronation Lydia. You know like a certain demon???" She looked at him saying "Wait how do you know about him???" He laughed saying "dad and I went down after you were taken to the isle and I met him. He clearly in love with you." Lydia laughed saying "yeah but he a demon...we don't stand a chance..." he laughed saying "really Lyds I'm going out with a villains kid." She laughed saying "yeah only because she thinks you are spelled..." he laughed saying "yeah true...however Family day is coming up and your family going to be coming and so is BJ...talk to him then..." she nods and they left the room. Mal was getting ready for her date with Ben while Lydia was zoning out staring up at the ceiling when she was broken from her thoughts when Mal threw a pillow at he saying "what what???" Evie looked at her saying "you okay Lyds???" She nodded saying "yeah it was just something Ben said to me I mean when he wasn't going on about how much he loves you. You know that friend???" Evie nodded saying "yeah...Wait he going to be here isn't he?!?!" She laughed saying "yeah...he is...the only problem is doesn't know the reason I wasn't there. I didn't want him to find out he has this view on me and I didn't want it to be ruined by it..." Mal the said "Well you are doing something evil with us..." Lydia sighed saying "yeah only because mom would..." she stopped saying "what am I saying I'm sorry..." Mal looked at her saying "you're scared of her???" She sighed saying "aren't you she is terrifying and at least she treats you somewhat good. You grew up with her she taught you her ways. She hates the fact that she couldn't teach me to be evil." Mal looked at Lydia saying "Lydia does she hurt you???" She bit her lip luckily she was saved by the knock on the door and it was her cousin and she said "I should go back to my dorm I have homework to do have fun..." she the disappeared. Collapsing in the bed letting our a gentle sighed.
