Unexpected Love

Chapter 4

~ James Potter ~

I strolled down the grounds of Hogwarts, I was on my way back from quidditch practice, I still haven't worked up my guts to apologize to Snape yet. I saw him occasionally but I just can't bring myself to do it. My eyes was focused on the ground when I felt something yank my robe backwards. All of the sudden I was slammed against the wall, there he was, not Snape, but Regulus. His arms was on both sides of the walls next to my waist.

This is an interesting position.

"Apologize," he hissed, I let out a whine.

"Please don't make me apologize!" I pleaded.

"Do you want to get Lily?" Regulus asked, I nodded my head. "Then do it,".

"You're freakishly strong," I muttered, he simply smirked and leaned in close, but there's still space between us, if I hadn't met Sirius, or Peter, I would've been freaked out by the amount of boundaries that he's crossing.

"Keep that in mind if you don't do what I say," Regulus warned. "Ok, good luck!" He cheerfully said and walked away. I let myself laugh for a bit until I regained control. I spotted Regulus leaning against the wall talking to a Ravenclaw student, I think she went by the name Pa something, maybe it's Pa. I dunno. He glanced at me and pointed at Snape and continued his conversation with the girl.

I huffed to myself and fixed my posture and slowly made my way to the Slytherin boy who I just don't get along with to apologize to him. I really hope it'll work. Because if not, then I've possibly ruined my reputation due to the fact that I apologized to a moody Slytherin. Or even worse, the boys might shut me away because of this or they'll think I've gone mental! I'm getting ahead of myself it's just an apology.

"H-hey Sni-Snape," I called out, the boy with greasy black hair turned around and at one glance at me he glared and, if it's even possible, more moody.

"What do you want Potter? And where's your friends?" Snape questioned, he looked around looking for Remus, Sirius and Peter.

"Whoa, relax it's just me here, I don't know where the other boys are, I was just coming back from quidditch practice. I just wanted to talk to you for a minute or two," I explained. I caught Regulus watching from the corners of my eyes.

"Why?" Snape suspiciously asked, his eyes still glared at me.

"Okay wow, this is harder than I thought- uh- I just wanted to say-," before I could even finish what I was saying, I was interrupted by Lily and Derek, who were holding hands, might I add.

"Leave him alone Potter!" Lily shouted, Snape, who seemed slightly interested on what I was going to say, looked at them and became pretty much pissed.

"Whoa Evans, I was just-,"

"We know what you were just doing," Derek interrupted,

"No you really don't, I was jus-,"

"Potter don't make me repeat myself, go away," Lily seethed. I looked at Regulus who had his eyes wide and mouth open.

So much for getting on Lily's good side.

"You two don't know what you're talking about," I scoffed, I turned around on my heels and walked away. The last thing I heard was-
