~ James Potter ~

"James, I really like you," Regulus admitted, I blushed and scooted closer from the distance we were dancing to, our eyes met once again, the night was starry and the forest was secluded, there was nobody around but us and the music playing from the vinyl recorder.

"I like you too," I admitted, I saw Regulus smiling and biting his lips. He looked down at the ground. I let one hand go from his waist and placed it on his cheek. Making him look at me, I became aware of how close we were, I felt my chest on his, slowly, I felt my lips meet his. It wasn't rushed or full of lust it's just- passionate. I leaned away, breaking the kiss, I felt his forehead on mine. Our eyes met again and I felt like there was nobody else that could make me feel this way.

"James," Regulus said,

"Yeah?"

"Kiss me again,"

"Always," I leaned in once again and found my eyes shut, the feeling was strong. All of the sudden I heard a loud thud -

I snapped my eyes open, and I was met with a beaming light and a book an inch away from my head. I widened my eyes and looked up, Professor McGonagall stood in front of me with an unimpressed expression.

"Am I boring you Mr. Potter," Professor McGonagall stiffly asked with a cocked eyebrows. I sat up straight and cleared my throat.

"No professor McGonagall, I'm sorry, jus' tired, sorry," I apologized. I noticed Professor McGonagall's serious expression falter but she remained and walked away.

"Detention Potter, with me after dinner," Professor McGonagall declared I sighed in annoyance and disappointment.

"James, are you okay? You just apologized to Professor McGonagall," Remus whispered in my ear from behind. Sirius and Peter were sitting far away so they wouldn't be able to hear us. I leaned backwards and whispered in Remus' ear.

"It's happened again but different this time,"

"What happened again?" Remus asked.

"My dream,"

"About?"

"Regulus,"

"You had another se-,"

"No, but this time it was more of a romantic thi-," I trailed off when Professor McGonagall approached my desk again, "Hi Professor McGonagall,". Remus quickly connected his back with his chair again.

"What is the answer Mr. Potter?" I widened my eyes at the question and my mind went blank until Peter, who was sitting in the front row which meant he was behind Professor McGonagall, held up a paper that wrote 'it turns owls into opera glasses'.

"It uh, it turns owls into opera glasses," I nervously answered. Peter stashed his paper back into his bag before acting nonchalant. I noticed Professor McGonagall eyeing me suspiciously before turning around.

"That is correct Mr. Potter," Professor McGonagall said, I could hear a sense of irritation in her tone. I grinned and mouthed a 'thank you' to Peter who gave me a shrug. Remus leaned back forward again.
