It was a disturbing day, and now its evening. I just want some peace for now, as to be honest, my mind was highly disturbed because of what happened today. I went to terrace to meet Mikasa. She wasn't there. Ah! Maybe she's disturbed as well. But why? Armin is alive. I don't know. I went to her room to call her.

"You forgot to come to terrace so I came to call you." Levi told, "Come soon, with black tea of course." I more like ordered. 

She came after few minutes to the terrace. She sat on a rock, while I was stargazing. "You know why I let Erwin die?", I directly came to point. She remained silent.

"Because when you all were busy with Reiner and Bertholdt, I and Erwin had a meeting outside the walls."

I told her everything about our talk, Erwin and soldiers' sacrifices, my fight with the Beast Titan, everything.

"All hopes in me were getting lost.

I let Erwin die, so that he can rest now."

I saw tears began rolling her eyes. She definitely is upset because of Erwin. I went near her and pulled her head to my chest. She began crying. I began stroking her hair with my fingers, while resting my chin on her head.

"Don't feel guilty Ackerman" I told. I don't know but it was much comforting. Hugging her, comforting her, made me feel good as well. For a second, I forgot everything that worried me. She cares, she have feelings, but he hides it well, like, like me. I thought all she cared about was Eren. She asked, "How is your leg now?"

I remained silent, and pulled her head again to my chest. She does.

"You asked that's enough" I replied.

Next day, everyone assembled in the Assembly Room, called by Commander Hanji and me.

Commander Pixis was there, who announced Hanji's, mine and Armin's promotions as Erwin might have wished. Now Hanji was officially Commander, I Squad Leader and Armin Captain.

I saw everyone cheering us up, but I wasn't happy. After Erwin's funeral, I and Hanji ordered for the recapture of Shiganshina District.

I and my team left today, leaving Hanji and few soldiers, including Mikasa behind.

A week later, captured Shiganshina. Its time for knowing the secrets of Grisha Jaeger's Basement, Erwin's dream is finally going to be fulfilled.
