Chapter 12

This takes place a week before y/n's bday so it's about 3 weeks later
Nicks pov
     I finally start sleeping again and actually find time to stream with Karl, he try's to talk about y/n but I quickly change the subject. Things better not change between us, I hope she doesn't want to not be friends or more once I find a reason to call her. I have tryed many times but quickly shut the thought down because of nervousness.
  Y/n's POV
      I call Niki. Me and her have been planning to surprise will with me showing up the day after my birthday, we haven't said anything about it but will keeps asking me if he can come to Florida to see me after my birthday. Every time I giggle and shut it down saying I plan on moving out quickly and already have a house ready. He always seems sad but ends up being ok with my shut down because he understands me.
         "Hello Niki!" I say as the call connects,
     "hi!" She says with excitement. "Good news I got you a ticket to Brighton! And it's the day after your birthday so it's perfect! I will send you the scan code thing!" She says with lots of excitement, everything is going as planned.
       "That's great! What time do I need to be there?" I say trying to Mach her excitement.
    "I will send you that with the scan thingy," she says with a giggle and i get a DM from her with the info.
     "ok i'm going to go pack now, i cant wait!" i say before leaving the call and springing up from my chair.
i grab a few different bags out of my closet, i pick the biggest one i could find, i plan on being there for a while so i just make a quick checklist of how things i will need. i pack 2 weeks of cloths and it fills the first bag full. i grab the second bag and prepare a few things i will pack in it like hair and makeup stuff, shower things and just basic Hygiene stuff.
Soon after I plop down into my chair and grab my guitar, play a few songs, then hop into the shower and go to sleep. I sleep restlessly most of the night thinking about 1000 things at once per usual. As my mind races, I have a few dreams and wake up abruptly every time. Soon I give up on the idea of sleep.
I get up and turn on my pc to see if will is still up or not, he probably is it's almost 11 pm there. I open discord and began typing, just letting my fingers link with my thoughts and it all just flows out of me at once
'You up, I can't sleep. My brain is thinking about a lot and idk what to do about it, I hope im not interrupting anything important I just simply need something to do. If you can I'm down of mc or whatever if you can get on to play rn,'
I type quickly, as I type I listen to the clicking of my keyboard, I do it often it's kinda soothing in a way. Not long after I get a response from will
'That sucks, I'm on my way home from a late night walk but I will join in a few, just hop on our world and I will call when I get back,'
I giggle and turn on some music, then join me and wills privet world, we normally play on it on nights I can't sleep or when it's early morning weekend/ late night for him. I just craft some stuff and clear my inventory before I get a call from will. I answer it with a smile
"Hello Wilbur!" I say l with unexpected energy bursting from the seams
"Energy much! Hello y/n," will says in return and joins the world
"What have you been up to, other than going for a walk?" I ask him quietly trying to start a conversation
"Well I was going to go to the pub but changed my mind when I got a text from you, your more important to me," he says in response
I giggle, "aww really, that's sweet. Big man wilbur soot chosen friend over his alcohol addiction," I say jokingly in my best news reporter voice. I always joke that he's slightly alcoholic because any time I call him he's always talking about going to the pub, he always make up a stupid excuse
"Well maybe if you would let me go I would stop talking about it so much! I haven't drank at all for like 3 months because you always call me before I can even get one drink!" He exclaims
I sigh in defeat, "ok that is true, but! To be fair I always get calls from you at 3 am on a Wednesday because your drunk and 'don't know what to do'" I mock the stupid cry he does when he calls me almost black out. I try my best to slur my words to make it more realistic
He laughs at my perfect impression of him and we continue to chat and play Minecraft for a while. I get to that stage where your tired but really giggly and your so tired that your not. I start to laugh at everything making wil laugh as well.
"Y/n how about you go to sleep, your tired and I know it," he says and I can barely make out his words
"No I'm not even tired! Trust me I don't need sleep ok, I can sleep during the day, sense school is over we can like sink sleep schedules or something, that would be cool!" I exclaims in my tired state
"Ok how about we hop off Minecraft and we both go lay down and call through our phones, like a sleep over but we are miles away!" He says matching my energy
"Ok fine," I say and start to shut down my pc. Once I see will go offline then back online again a few minutes later I call him and he quickly answers. I plop down in my bed and prop my phone up agents a blanket. I turn on my camera an lay on my side and I talk to will. I feel myself slowly drifting off to sleep then waking up seconds later, eventually I give up my fight to stay awake and fall into a deep sleep.
The next morning
Y/n's pov
I wake up and roll over, will is sleeping on call with me, I don't even remember falling asleep! What the hell is going on. I mute myself and go to my bathroom to get simi ready for the day. I brush through my hair and brush my teeth, wash my face, go to the restroom, put my rings on, and put on a little makeup.
I look at my phone again and see will still asleep, I giggle and hang up, he does it to me all the time when we sleep on call. After that I go downstairs and eat a small breakfast and ask for a ride to the skating rink. Sense I have a membership I can go all year around and skate when I want as long as there not closed.
My mom happily drives me and drops me off, i Greet the lady working at the front and quickly put on my skates. I hop onto the ice, there's one other person there. There really tall and have blond hair, I just speed skate around for a while. I skate past them a few time but eventually I hear something shocking
"Y/n?" I voice I recognize calls out, it's Clay, I haven't talked to him really sense me and Nick... you know. I skate around him a little then stop quickly infront of him. I have to look up almost completely to look him in the face.
"Yes?" I ask quickly trying to get the conversation over with
" hey what's up with you and Nick, he hasn't been doing the best sense the last time you two hung out?" He says confused
I take a breath " do you want me to be honest?" I ask and he nods "ok Nick made a huge mistake. He told me he needed a brake, and now he's paying the price until he relies. I told him to call me when he makes up his mind and relies his mistake, haven't really talked sense, only during lore streams," I say it quickly but explain as best I can
Clay sighs, "so he did it again, great. Thanks by the way," Clay says and starts to skate off. I speed up and pass him quickly, doing a few turns in the mix.
"Oh quit being a show off," he says dramatically. I quickly skate infront of him making him fall backwards, I do a few circles around him, his eyes follow me and I go around. I stop infront of him and hold my hand out.
"Bita," I say and start to help him back to his feet. I ment to make him fall and was laughing inside at his reaction
"What was that for?!" He says with slight anger.
     I giggle "pay back for the head pat," I say and skate away. The rest of the time he is there we don't talk and stay on opposite sides of the rink.
I'm there for hours and eventually get cold so ask my mom to pick me up. Minutes later my mom arrives and drives me home, In the car we talk a little about my plans for the meetup, she dosent care vary much sense I'm almost 18 now, it was really my dad with the issue of course.
We arrive home and I go up to my room. I play Minecraft for most of the day and attended Karl's stream for a bit, we don't interact much but when we do it's pretty calm compared to when I play with other people. He's really kind and pretty calm unless he chugs a few monsters then he gets a little crazy.
We end up having a few laughs but he ends shortly after and we end call. I chill on my own for a while as I play Minecraft, mostly grinding on the smp for no reason. I talk to tubbo for a while and Ranboo ends up joining our little chat as well. Soon after tommy talks to me. Sense he wasn't live he was pretty calm.
His online persona is a lot different than when he's not in a live. He normally pretty timid and pretty nice to talk to. Eventually I end up takeing a shower and going to sleep
Long Time skip, at the airport
Y/n's POV
I panic as I get a FaceTime call from will. I answer it holding the phone close to my face, I just landed and Nikis about to pick me up. "Hey, sorry can't chat right now, I'm a little busy. I will call you later though, sorry will," I say as it connects
"Alright, never mind, call me when you can. Sorry for interrupting," he says quickly and hangs up. I'm not sure what he was calling for. I stand with my 2 bags and wait for Niki at the airport.
I see someone with pink hair walking up and they look extremely excited. "Y/N," Niki calls out and hugs me tightly as she gets closer to me.
"Hi Niki, it's good to Finally see you in person," I say hugging back. We waist no time and rush to her car. It was around noon so we stopped and grabbed some food on the way to wils. Niki calls him on the way. I stay really quiet
"He will! Just wanted to let you know I'm on my way, just wanted to hang out for a while if that's fine?" She asks in her cute little voice.
"Yes of course Niki, I'm unlocking the door right now so just walk in when you get here," I hear will call out with excitement and I hear some shuffling from his end. I giggle a little as they say goodbye
Shortly after we arrive at wills. I start to get super excited, I almost scream to let it out. We leave my stuff in the car for now and walk up to the door. Niki walks in and I walk in behind her, I hide around the corner and hear niki and will talking down the hall, it's getting louder.
Finally I see an arm and jump out with a scream, will jumps back almost knocking Niki over, he puts his hand on his chest and takes s breath before relishing it's me
"OH MY GOD Y/N WHAT THE HELL!?" He says quickly before hugging me tightly
I hug back "hello will!" I say and look up at him, his face covered with a big smile
      "When did you get here? And Niki you sneaky little," he says turning a pointing at her knowing she was involved in this.
"I landed about an hour ago, Niki drive me here," I say with a laugh, we walk to the living room and sit on the couch for a while chatting. After a while niki Decides to leave so me her and will go out and grab my bags, will shows me my room, and we both go to bed shortly after
I change into comfy cloths and climb into the neatly made bed. I lay awake for a while but eventually fall into a deep, dreamless sleep.
