For all my loyal readers: THANK YOU for being so patient with me. October/November have brought huge changes in my life. And although I am loving the majority of them, I have also been very stressed and haven't really been myself.

October 22nd my boyfriend of 4 years brought me to the beach to say goodbye to Florida, our home that we've known the majority of our lives... and he got down on one knee and proposed to me 💖

November 1st we officially became North Carolina residents, after saying goodbye to our friends and families and starting a new chapter in a brand new place! We are VERY happy to be here but I won't lie and say it hasn't been a struggle.

I am starting to feel like myself more and more everyday. And I was finally able to sit down and write. I can't promise that there will be regular updates right now, but I can promise that I am trying. I am here. And I love you guys!

For those of you that have asked, I still plan on continuing this book. I also still plan on selling the physical copies 🥰

Your sweet comments and messages did not go unnoticed. Often you guys brought me to happy tears and made my day just a little bit brighter. So thank you, and enjoy this chapter along with some very light lemon.

"Just five more minutes," I whisper to Kakashi as I run my fingers through Nikko's curls.

"Baby, we have to get them up and ready. Lady Tsunade is expecting us."

Kei lays peacefully against my chest as Nikko is cuddled up in the crook of my arm in our big bed.

We slept the same way last night, making sure I was holding my babies at all times. It's the same way we've slept for the past three nights since they've been home.

"I know, my love, but if we don't wake them up now, we'll be late."

I let out a small sigh as I caress Nikko's sleeping face.

"Nikko, sweetie, it's time to wake up."

She shifts beside me, her tiny hands reaching up to rub at her sleepy eyes.

Kakashi reaches for Kei and lifts him off of my chest, making him whimper loudly as he takes him into the nursery to change him and get him dressed.

As soon as Nikko hears Kei crying, she opens her eyes, blinking the sleep from out of them.

She reaches over to me as I sit up and gives me a big smile.

"Good morning pretty girl. We have to get you dressed and ready for the day."

She frowns but then crawls over to my lap so I can carry her.

"I'm sleepy." She says as I walk us into her room and put her down on her bed.

"I know me too. Why don't you pick out what you want to wear today?"

She struggles off of the bed and walks over to me, slipping her hand in mine as she stares into her closet.

"Hmm, this!" She points excitedly at a cute set of denim overalls and a pink and white polka dot shirt.

"I have matching socks!" I laugh as she runs over to her dresser to grab the pair of socks that match the shirt she chose.

"You wanna wear your white sneakers today?" I ask her.

She nods her head as she comes back over to the bed to change out of her pajamas.

I help her pull the shirt over her head and pull the overalls up, buttoning them into place before I pull her socks and shoes on.

"Okay, cutie. I'll meet you in the bathroom to do your hair."
