~Chapter 15~

"Slow down. I'm totally not kidding." Tony said

"I'm sorry it's just.. Your rambling lost me." Hadley said, slowing down. The two were in the park, taking their weekly jog

"Look, you know how you're having a dream, and in the dream you gotta pee?" Tony explained, stopping her from walking

"Sure" Hadley laughed

"Okay, then you're like, my God, there's no bathroom, what am I gonna do?" Tony said dramatically, earning a laugh, "Oh! Someone's watching!"

"Right. And then you wake up, and in real life you actually have to pee." Hadley said with a small nod

"Yes." Tony said, nodding

"Everybody has that." Hadley said with a shrug

"Right. That's the point I'm trying to make." Tony said, "Last night, I dreamt, we had a kid. So real. We named him after your middle name. Morgan."

"Right." Hadley said, nodding a bit, "So you woke up, and we were..."

"Expecting." Tony finished, "Yeah. Yes?" He added hopefully

Hadley laughed "No!"

"I had a dream about it. It was so real." Tony defended

Hadley sighed

"If you want to have a kid..." She said softly, "then we need to pick a date... And we should probably do something about these.."

She set her hand on hers and Tony's twin nano housing units. Tony's was sat in the middle of his chest, powered by his arc reactor while Hadley's was on her arm, wrapped around her wrist like a brace

"I'm glad you mentioned that because these are just a precaution. Just in case there's a monster in the closet or something you know..?" He asked

"Tony... There is nothing but shirts in our closet... Nothing has happened in two years Tony..." She said, leaning into him

"I know... It's just a precaution... And as for a date, I thought we said August 27th" Tony said

"That's the decoy date to get the PR off our back." Hadley said, "You said yourself you didn't want to get married in August"

"Oh... Right.." Tony said, scrunching up his nose as he thought

Hadley smiled and kissed his nose "We'll figure it out Tony..." She said

Tony smiled and leaned closer, kissing her lips

Suddenly a sound interrupted them.

Tony pulled away, just barely so when he turned to look, his nose bumped Hadley's.

Next to them, suspended in midair was an array of yellow sparkles, circling in the air growing bigger and bigger until it opened into a portal, revealing a man dressed in robes and a red cloak

Hadley stared at him in confusion, glancing at Tony

"Tony Stark, Hadley Velvet" the man spoke, "I'm Dr. Stephen Strange. I need you to come with me."

Hadley and Tony stared at him quietly. Then the man rolled his eyes, remembering something

"Oh. Congratulations on the wedding, by the way." He added

Tony glanced at Hadley then looked back at Dr. Stephan Strange.

"I'm sorry. You giving out tickets or something?" He asked

"We need your help." Strange said, "Look, it's not overselling it to say that the fate of the Universe is at stake."

"And who's we?" Tony asked

From behind Strange, a man walked through the portal. Someone the two of them hadn't seen in a very long time

"Hey, Tony." Bruce said

"Bruce!" Tony said in shock, staring at him

"Bruce! Oh my god!" Hadley hurried forward and quickly hugged her best friend

"Hey.." Bruce said, hugging her back

Bruce looked at Tony and stepped toward him, a look of desperation on his face. Tony looked at Bruce with concern

"You okay..?" Tony asked as Bruce hugged him

"We need your help Tony... Please" Bruce said softly

Tony looked at him in quiet concern then glanced at Hadley "Yeah... Alright" he said

Bruce nodded and looked at Strange before following the man through the.. portal thing
