I'm sorry bitches.😔

Luca's P.O.V.

"Anything new?" Caleb asked, coming into my office, just like he's done every day for the past 5 months since they took Karmen. I shook my head sadly. There have been a lot of false leads but they all lead us nowhere.

"But it's September." He pleaded. I felt my heart ping. At one of our first doctors appointments we were told that the baby was due September 7th, today is the 13th. When Karmen went missing we were a week away from knowing the sex of the baby, with her gone we just don't know.

"I know I'm trying, I really am." I said in a low and soft voice. "Dad..." he muttered to where I could barely hear him. I looked up and met his eyes "do you think the baby's okay?" He asked.

"Yeah bud I do." I answered even if I don't fully believe my own words. "And momma?" He followed up. "Of course, you know how stubborn she is." I joked earning a small smile from Caleb.

"Now come on, you have to get ready for school and I have to get Micah dressed." I said, wrapping my arm around his shoulders and bringing him out the room. "You know, you've gotten a bit taller. I think you might have your mom beat." He's grown at least a couple inches these past few months. He's not my height yet but at this rate he definitely will be or at least close to it.

As I walked down the hallway to the kids room my phone rang. "Yes?" I answered Andy's call. "Um, boss? You gotta see this." He responded. "Got to see what? Come on Andy, you're a big boy, use your words."

"I- uhm, something was- um delivered?" He stumbled. "Okay whatever I'm coming down."

"Caleb, can you get Micah dressed while I deal with something." I asked him, he nodded his head yes and I went downstairs to see what all the fuss was about.

When I hit the bottom of the stairs I froze. There stood Matteo holding what looks to be a newborn baby in his arms, with a scared expression. "What's this?" I asked, taking a step.

No one answered verbally. Antonio just handed me a piece of paper with writing on it.

It's a girl! Don't worry she is unharmed, though I can't say the same for your fiancé. I think it's just adorable that you're still trying to find her, no matter how many dead ends you just keep going. I'm actually starting to feel a little bad for you so here is a little sunshine to brighten up your pathetically cloudy life.

As I looked up from the letter with tears forming in my eyes I glanced at the three boys before looking down to Matteo's arms at the sleeping baby. My baby.

"Give her to me." I stated. Matteo took a cautious step towards me before passing her to me. I looked down just as she yawned and her big brown eyes fluttered open. She looked just like Micah did in the baby pictures Karmen would show me.

"I want a DNA test immediately." I said as I held her closer to my chest "just on the off chance this is some kind of sick mind game." None of them even thought about arguing before walking away.

I looked down at the child in my arms and as we made eye contact a huge smile stretched onto her face. I smiled down sadly at the child as she reminded me of everything I've missed out on with Karmen.

I must have zoned out because I didn't realize Caleb and Micah had come down the stairs until I heard Micahs laugh. As I turned around both of their eyes went to the little girl. Micah looked confused while Caleb looked almost scared. "Who's baby is that daddy?" Micah asked.

"Uh- well I'm trying to figure that out sweetheart. you guys are already late, you have to get to school, now David is waiting outside in the car to drop you both off, get going" I said nodding my head towards the door.

I walked towards them and kissed Micahs head and gave Caleb a hug before they both left for school.

The baby laid on me and Karmen's bed while I just watched. I wasn't sure what to do, Karmen was supposed to be here to help me. I don't know anything about parenting a baby. I stood there watching her sleep until there was a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yelled.

Matteo walked in with a blank expression. "Did you get the results?" I asked him. "Yeah, that's your guy's daughter." He said with a blank emotion. "What's your problem man? This is good news. 1. We know my baby girl is safe. 2. Now we know Karmen is alive." I said starting to get pissed off at his attitude. "Yeah well she may be alive but that doesn't mean she is okay." He replied before turning and walking out of the room.

I reached down, picking up my daughter and laid down with her resting between my arm and my side. While I waited for the DNA test I didn't want to risk naming her and then finding out she wasn't actually my daughter. But now that I know for sure I know exactly what I want to name her.

Every time me and Karmen would talk about the baby she swore up and down that it was a girl, which turned out to be true. Even though I thought she was a boy I still listened to her names for a girl. And every time her top name was Anastasia.

I looked over to the sleeping girl in my arms and spoke. "Hello Anastasia,"
