Demetrius did nothing less than embarrass me the night that he showed up to my house drunk.

The way that he spoke to me over the phone, the way that he spoke to me when he got here. I could see that he was the only one in the vehicle. So he wasn't showing out for anyone. He really said all of those things.

After Jimin put Kailo to sleep, (a godsend), I cried myself to sleep. I know that he was drunk and he couldn't have meant those things but it still hurt that he said them to me at all.

The text that he sent me the next day confirmed that. He apologized for showing up the way that he did. He also apologized for saying what he said and disrespecting me.

I didn't text him back so he ended up calling me. He called three times that day before I finally answered on the fourth. He ended up stopping by to see Kailo and bringing food with him. It was pasta that he mashed up and fed him. He told me not to touch anything and just eat. But not 'too much'.

He said that I looked sick. Something that he found no issue in announcing, but that I found an issue in hearing.

I force myself to eat and then clean up the dishes. The kitchen and living room have been fully cleaned thanks to Jimin's help last night. I thanked him twice before he left.

Jimin has gone back home. He's been there for a few days now. He texted when he landed saying that he would be busy for the first week. He won't be able to have a proper phone call with Kailo until it settles down.

He replies when I send him pictures of Kai. I haven't told him about his two teeth breaking in fully. I want him to see them himself whenever he FaceTimes him. It's an exciting thing to see.

"Ah. He just bit me!" Samara points at Kai and I laugh. "I thought that I was your favorite? What did I do to deserve such treatment?"

"He flip on anybody. If he feel like he don't like you right then and there, you gonna know." Ivelisse says. We're helping my mother prepare dinner.

Brown stew chicken and rice.

"So Jimin went back home, baby?" My mother asks and I nod.

"Yeah. It's been a couple days. He's been busy or he would have called already. He loves him so much. He texted me the other day and said that he got him some stuff right before he left. A member of his management team dropped it off yesterday. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet though."

"As he should. He better be a good father or I would have to renounce my fan membership." Samara says and Ivelisse laughs.

"With all the preparing for the Victoria's Secret show, I know that you've been a busy woman. The Fenty show you were in was wonderful. Think I might pick me up a couple pieces." My mother nudges me playfully.

"Ew maaa. I don't need to hear all that. When daddy coming home anyway?"

"In a week. He should be here in time for your VS walk. Don't worry. I've been keeping him updated about Kailo and Jimin as well for you."

"Thank you because this man acts like his phone doesn't work when I call him. He texts me though."

"He's busy. You know that. You're still his favorite daughter."
