I was doing my paperworks. I ordered Hange to talk to Onyakopon and the other volunteers. She would give me a report if any signs of suspicion
She reported once that Eren nearly transformed at his cell along with her. Luckily she pushed him away and survived
He started acting like that since our awarding ceremony with the queen. I think he knew something.
I simply sighed
After signing all of the papers. I decided to take a shower. I viewed myself in the mirror and saw my reflection
My whole face looks horrible
I closed my eyes and took a quick shower. After that and I prepared tea for myself. I placed it on my desk
"At last I could enjoy my tea in peace"
Before I could sip my tea. The suddenly barge opened. From the loud noise. I accidentally dropped my teacup
"I spoke to soon" and shifted my gaze at my broken teacup on the floor
Well there goes my tea and relaxation
"Do you know how to knock?!" I hissed at the panting soldier
"I'm sorry commander but the Supreme commander Darius Zackly is killed with a bomb on his office"
My eyes widen
I immediately took my military coat and went on my way
"Has Hange been informed about the situation?" I asked
"Yes she was the one who told me to inform you. She is at the military police base. She would be waiting for you" he replied
I immediately ran to the stables and took my white horse. I mounted my horse and immediately went to the military police headquarters
I arrived at the scene. I saw Hange and the higher-ups gathered at the table
"I'm sorry for being late" I apologized
"It is alright Commander Rei. Your presence is all we need. We would discuss about the suspects of the bombing case" Commander Pyxis said
"Is there any lead?" I asked
"It was only him and the three recruits that lost their lives. We have a suspicion that the bomb was planted on the special chair that was delivered to him this morning" Commander Nile explained
"The volunteers are innocent I was with them the whole day" Hange said behind her is Onyakopon
"The chair who brought it?"
"He told us. It was delivered by the recruits. But when we visited him we realized three recruits that were running away from the HQ. From the Survey corps" Armin stated
"I remember that there were soldiers in the survey corps for leaking information about Eren"
The door suddenly opened with a loud bang
"Eren has escape from his underground cell" he informed
"Gather all soldiers and find him"

"Over a hundred soldiers and Floch Foster was gone. It is believed all of them abandoned the military the same time in Eren's escape. It should be safe to say they were the one who killed commander Zackly. We should call them anti-military organizations also know as the Yeagarist. What do you think is there goal commander Rei?" Commander Nile asked
"It is too unite Zeke and Eren together then to remake the military with Eren on top?" I answered
"Most of the Yeagarist are part of the Survey Corps, how are you going to take responsibility for that. Commander Rei" he said while emphasizing my title
"I will accept any punishment but I won't leave my position that would be irresponsible of me and we still don't know if there are hidden Yeagerist among our ranks" I said in a serious tone
"Your right but you should prove that your not part of them. We should imprisoned the survey corps! For sure"
"Enough we are in a presence of a visitor. You should be ashamed!" commander Pyxis stated
I shifted my gaze at Lady Kiyomi Azumabitos who was sitting on a nearby desk
"Rei how many soldiers know where Zeke is confined?" he asked
"30 soldiers and Captain Levi are watching over Zeke. Plus 3 who are responsible of the resupply and communication. Me and Hange also knows the location" I informed
"Bring the three soldiers here" he ordered a soldier
"We need to make sure that those two never meet"
"Commander Pyxis you are the only one who could lead us now since commander Darius Zackly is no longer with us. What are you planning to?" Armin asked
"We will surrender to Eren" he declared
All of us were shocked at his words.
"There is nothing we can do with enemies inside our ranks. Even if we did mange to capture them. A lot of blood would be spilled in the process. We have no such time for that"he stated
"Wait are you letting the people who killed the commander Zackly trample us down?" a soldier asked
"I know him he'd be satisfied to live and be defeated by the revolution. I know the people who died there doesn't want their lives to be the cost to lose Eldia's fall" he explained
"That is the only way to lessen our casualties in our ranks. Life is too meaningful" as he looked at me I couldn't keep eye contact feeling the guilt rush through me

We were at the stables
With the rest of the survey corps soldiers
"What are we going to do now?" Connie asked
"We're going to investigate" I declared
"You already have a lead?" they asked
"That would be nice but we are just going to investigate them" I stated
"There are a lot of marleyan POW workplaces that shows slight suspicion like restaurants for example" I said
"We would be visiting our neighborhood chef........ Niccolo"
