"Levi" I said while struggling to move
I wanted to see him. I wanted to see him right now. My tears wouldn't stop trickling down my cheeks
I mistreated the man. I hurted him many ways possible. He suffered a lot because of me. I did it because I thought it was the best for him
It was only the best for me!! I was too selfish. I couldn't give back all the love he gave me. I couldn't even bear to look at my pathetic state
"Rei!!"
I heard someone yell my name in worry
It was Onyakopon. He then went towards me. He supported my back. I immediately grabbed his collar
"Please please take me to him!! Please take me too Levi" I pleaded Onyakopon eyes widen it was his first time seeing the cold blooded commander act so vulnerable
She always has a cold gaze plastered in her face. Despite being short she has a high posture. She stood tall and firm. Her aura is always intimidating like how every normal commander acts
But now is the complete opposite. She was pleading. Right in front of him is a person that could break any moment. A person made of glass. A child that needs guidance. That needs full attention and care
He immediately carried her in his arms and searched for a black haired man
They were a lot of people. Who were still confused of what's happening right now
He searched left or right to find the man. He was having difficulty of finding him
Annie noticed Onyakopon in his panicking state. What made Annie's eyes tremble in fear is the person who he was holding
"Onyakopon!! What are you doing!!" she asked seeing the person bleeding made her heart raise in panic
She was somehow important to her. She forgave her for all she did despite she killed her friends in many brutal ways. She smiled at her the sincere type of smile. She see her as a family like her adoptive father
She never thought that a person like her would sincerely help a monster like her. She somehow feels like she doesn't deserve her forgiveness
"I need to get her to the captain!" he replied
She then remembered he saw the captain leaning on a rock nearby
"He's over there" Annie pointed out
Onyakopon immediately ran towards there. He then saw the man leaning on the rock. His eyes were lifeless but when he saw Onyakopon while holding the girl. His eyes shot opened
He immediately stood up and went towards him
"She was looking for you the whole time" Onyakopon said then gave her to him
Levi's eyes widen seeing her in his disheveled arms. He never thought she would end up here in his arms. He was pleading to see her and here she is. He was engulfed with her warmth but half of her leg is bitten off
He simply stared at her face. He couldn't utter a word. He was speechless
"Levi" I mumbled
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry for hurting you. I left you in the dust. It was a terrible thing to do so I'm sorry. I don't deserve your forgiveness. I never even deserved your love" I said and started crying salty tears
"Shhhh don't say that. It should be the opposite. I never deserve your love even back then" he stated
"What are you talking about?" I asked
"I was a horrible person. I never deserved a love of person. I'm a former cruel thug and you were the kind cheerful girl" he stated
"So what? It was my choice I fell in love with you because I wanted too" I said
Levi's eyes widen
"You still love me?" he asked
I simply nodded
I remembered the days when we were happy with our relationship. We always go for strolls in the headquarters and pick up flowers especially canpabella my favorites.
Whenever we go on dates in the city and we would buy chocolates. And every night I could feel his warmth whenever we sleep together
I wasn't suffering from Insomnia back then because Levi was beside me and whenever I had nightmares he would comfort me to sleep
We would also stargaze when the moon shines so bright along with the stars in the night sky
Little bits of time with him made me happy. How cleans the office with a frowning expression. How he holds his teacup in the most unusual way. How he curses people when his mad. And how his hair is slightly parted to the right
Every bit of it. I fell in love with him. I fell in love with this man
As for Levi he never thought his world will go upside down when he fell in love with her
He was obsessed the way her head is laying on his chest. How she loves the things he hates about his self but whenever he's with her he couldn't explain how happy he was. Despite being a mess she just smiles sincerely at him
Everything melts whenever he saw her smile. Good or bad he loved everything about her
She laughs when she's happy. She cries when she's sad. Despite being angry she holds herself not to hurt the person unless she's too mad. She is very strong. She could defeat any enemy that comes towards her
"That was what my heart is telling me" I replied to his question
Tears started trickling down his cheek
I place my hands on his face despite it being messed up with scars. He still looks handsome than ever
"I'm so sorry for hurting you. I thought it would be the best for us. I'm sorry for being selfish. I was so stupid" I said while crying
The people stared at them in pity. The island devils?
"Because I thought I never deserved such kind of things. I thought I never deserved happiness but it was all a delusion that I made to hide my selfishness" I said
"I'm so sorry" I apologized
Levi immediately placed his lips on mine. The feeling of his soft lips connected to mine made my heart explode in ecstasy
"Don't apologize I already forgave you a long time ago" he said he then kissed my forehead
"Nothing changed my love for you well because I don't want to hate the person I love the most" he stated
He then kissed my tears away
"I'm so in love with you I hope you know that. My love for you is worth more than stars in the sky" he said
And gave me a smile
I then captured his lips and gave him a passionate kiss full of love and affection for the man on front of her
Nobody could explain how much she loved him. She then pulled out from the kiss. She placed her hand in his handsome face
"You were my 7 minutes , Captain Levi Ackerman"
