Peter and I stood in Central Park, watching everyone celebrating and awaiting for their friendly neighborhood heroes to arrive. A marching band started passing us, and Peter mimics the drummer making me laugh.

"Oh I almost forgot." Peter said, picking up his camera. "I need to take some photos for the Bugle. I'll be right back." He said giving me a quick peck on the cheek. "Don't get lost." I said making him laugh before he disappeared into the crowd.

I let out a happy sigh and watch some kids run by playing cops and robbers, but with Spideys instead of cops. Then I felt my spider senses go off, and I look around on edge. "Hey, (Name)." I heard Harry's voice say behind me.

"Harry." I replied, turning around to face him. "Where is Pete?" He asked, looking around a tossing a piece of Cotton candy in his mouth. "Taking pictures for the Bugle. It's good to see you Harry. You look better." I said.

"I've never felt better. It's a weird feeling, not knowing who you are. Bump on the head, I'm free as a bird." Harry said, grinning happily. "Will you bump me on the head?" I asked jokingly. Harry lightly bump my forehead with him palm. "Bop." He said making me laugh.

"Pete said you're working at a bar. 'Where everyone knows you're name.'" Harry said making me laugh again. "Yeah, I'm waitress. It's not really as glamorous as Cheers makes it seem. But everyone there's nice except for one bad egg. Can't really complain." I said.

"We should go out for drinks some time." Harry said. "Yeah. But you know Peter not much of drinker." I said. "I mean just you and me. You know catch up on everything." Harry said. I bit my lip nervously.

I'm not sure if that's really a good idea. After what happen the other night and my spider sense being on the fritz... I just don't know if I can trust myself at the moment.

"Is that okay?" Harry asked, bringing me back to reality. "Uh... you know I'm not feeling up for drinks to be honest." I said, making Harry frown, breaking my heart. "We could do something else." I said, getting that big grin to return to Harry's lips. "Yeah. We'll figure something out." He said.

I smiled back at him weakly. "I'm gonna go see if they have any corn dogs. I'll see you soon, (Name)." Harry said, waving to me as he disappeared into the crowd. I watch him leave with a worried look.

"Hey, beautiful." I heard Peter's voice say behind me. I turn around and smile at my boyfriend as he snap a photo. "One more." He said and I drop my smile. "Everything Okay?" He asked, lowering his camera concerned.

"I don't know... my spider sense went off again with Harry. It's like every time with him it keeps going off. I can't make heads or tails about it. What if..." I said, trailing off. I look at my hand where the spider bit me, looking at the tiny faded bite marks. "What if my powers are starting go away like yours did."

"Hey." Peter said softly, walking over to take my hand. "Whatever's going on, we'll figure it out together. If it that's case... I'll be here there for you, like you were for me." Peter said, giving me a reassuring smile. I return the smile. "What would I do without you?" I asked making him laugh. "I'd be more worry about what I'd do without you." He said making me laugh.

I wrap my arms around Peter, pulling him in for a kiss follow by a hug. "Ready to give those people a show?" I whisper to him as we hugged. "Born ready." He replied. We pull away from the hug and left Central Park, quickly changing into our suits.

Without only our masks left to put on, we swing onto an edge of building, watching Gwen give her speech. "I ask you: When you're dropping without a parachute or your store's being robbed or your house is on fire, who is it that brakes your fall, puts out the flames and saves your children?"
