Angel! Damia x Demon! Reader - Part 1

Eyyo y'all still here? I'm not talking to myself right? I wouldn't blame you if you got bored and left, honest, I have been really inconsistent this past year.

Still here? Okay awesome!

Okay so this! This is something I promised you guys all the way back when this book reached 200k. If any of you haven't been around for that long, and you're confused about why this has popped up all of a sudden, don't worry this was planned. I'm not just throwing a random oneshot at you without any prior warning *ahem* delinquent au *cough*. However, when this book did hit 200k, it was around around the time when the main story in BOAW was taking off, so I was focusing on that. That, and I had no idea on what I wanted this oneshot to be about.

But NOW this book is at 300k+, and I DO have an idea on what I want this oneshot to be about. In fact, I had an idea I liked so much.... That I realised halfway through that it was going to be really long, and I'd have to split it into two parts.

Which I guess is good news for those of you who like Damia. For those who don't like Damia however, and just want to get back to the main story, boy do I have news for you!! Hahaha... haha... ha...

I'm really sorry I'll get the final part of Victim to Inflicter out as soon as I can. I promise.

But anyway, we're not here to talk about that right now. Where here to talk about this. And as you can see, it's going to be an AU where our flirtatious Sheikah boy, who is both loved and hated by the public, is an Angel - and you, my dear reader, are a Demon. No particular reason to this, I am just an absolute SUCKER for enemies to lovers (shocker, I know) and what better way to showcase this than literal beings of supposed good and evil.

Quick disclaimer. Nothing in this story is based on real religion. It is a fictional take of gods and entities that may be based on biblical species. I may use terms like, Heaven, Hell, good, evil, but I'm not following Christianity or any other religion that have these in their practice when I write about them in this story. Which means the Angels and Demons you read about in this fic probably won't act or talk in a way you may expect them to. I am not trying to be accurate towards any religion, or offend anyone's views. I just want to write about extraterrestrial beings falling in love. Got it? We cool? Okay, good. I probably didn't need to write this, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to upset anyone through this.

ANYWAY

In the main story, Damia is kinda like a mentor to Y/N in an unfamiliar world. But in this, it's sort of the other way around. But also not really. Damia won't be in a situation where he's in the know most of the time, which means he won't always act the way you're used to him acting in the main story. Y/N isn't much better, but just know that our boi won't be the knowledgeable one during this adventure.

Also I will just say that It may be a while before we see the two of them together. And I don't just mean smooching, I mean literally in the same spot. Breathing the same air - just existing around each other. This is because I want to do some world building before I start on their relationship. I should also mention that the first part of this oneshot will widely be following Damia's side of the story. The second part will be much more Y/N oriented, but I just wanted to make sure Damia was at least kind of solid before just passing him off as your love interest.

(Btw yes, Link is making an appearance in this. While this little story isn't for Link, it is still as a whole a Link x Reader. And I just think he should be included)

Also I know this is a botw fanfiction, but since this doesn't follow the main story, and since Skyward Sword came out recently (which is my favourite in the franchise btw) I decided to add some characters from the game. Of course they'll be different from their game counterparts, but I still wanted to add them in, especially since SKSW focuses a lot on the celestial side of Zelda's lore.
