Y/n's POV:

It's been hours, we've been offered champagne and actual dishes,

'We're almost there.' Rafe says, I nod and stare through the window, I can barely see anything since it is already night,

'Wait for me here, I'll be back.' He says as he kisses my forehead and walks towards one of the stewardesses,

I once again could not distinguish what they are talking about, however, judging my Rafe's serious and not-so frenzied facial expressions, I can tell that it's nothing related to anything personal, probably just about the landing time...

Rafe comes back, sitting next to me as he roams through his phone, reading and writing down something,

'Is everything alright?' I ask as he agrees whilst concentrating on his writing,

I refuse to peak or to even attempt to rummage and discover what is he doing, it's none of my concern whatsoever...

I steady my head against the window and examine each modicum twinkle, each light that illuminates in the sky, it seems so tranquil outside, even though I acknowledge that the volume is ear-wrenching out there...

I knot and nibble at my fingers, as then I feel Rafe's huge palm setting in mine, holding me as we get closer and closer to the destination...

—-

"Mr. Cameron and Mrs. Cameron." The stewardess gestures for us as I smile and feel my face heating up once she addressed me by his last name, I glance at him from below as he's smirking, proud about what he's done...

I observe the horizon as I eventually notice a yacht, balancing on the shore, as the lanterns emphasise it's details,

Everything seems perfect...too perfect...

—-

Rafe holds me by my waist as he leads me towards the yacht,

I notice that we don't have a helmsman, we are entirely alone, I glare at Rafe,

'I will take care of you.' He says, as I smile and scoff,

'Are you scoffing at me?' He asks as I shake my head,

'No, I never had doubts that you'd take care of me,' I reassure, smiling,

He nods and guides me towards the cockpit,

Gentle lights twinkle on the yacht, as Rafe pushes the inter-button on the panel, clips the lanyard on a belt loop of life jacket ring, as he removes all the lines that are securing the boat, shifting the throttle handle, he advances the wheel and initiates the impute, motioning the boat out of it's coast, gradually shuffling aside, he does it with one hand, twisting the wheel with his rough-surface of the palm, effortlessly, as if he's done it myriads of times, however I cannot be surprised really...

He then gestures for me to stand towards the wheel,

'I've never done it before...' I comment as he chuckles and clasping my hands, he sets them on the operationalising surface, one at the top of the wheel and the second one on the middle-ish section,

Secluding me from behind, he holds me tightly, one of his hands setting on my waist as the other one remain on my own hand, helping me,

'Then it's going to be your first time.' He responds, as he counsels me with motioning the boat, I am terrified, but he holds me all this time, not letting go,

'I am here...now just move it gently, I will manage the panel, concentrate on the steering.' He says as I nod and begin to motion the yacht on the clear and peculiar ocean, it seems as tranquil as oasis, just the two of us, as I notice Rafe letting go of my hands, his other hand gently gliding down to my waist as he is now holding me with both of his hands on the waist, pressing me against him, he manages to make everything erotic, even a smile operating of the yacht...

'Good job princess.' He whispers in my ear, his head remaining on my shoulder, his lips leisurely trace down my neck, I shiver and close my eyes in angst, it's distracting me,

'Eyes on the horizon.' He demands as I snap them open,

'I can't focus if you keep fondling with me.' I remark,

'Do you want me to stop hm?' He asks,

'No.' I mutter as I attempt to concentrate on the front yonder, it is complicated, very complicated...

—-

'I'll do the boring part,' He says, taking my hands off the wheel, as he still remains behind me whilst setting the yacht at the shore,

I examine the surreal island in front of me, in distance, I can see a wooden home, however it's difficult to analyse it,

Forest surrounding the majority of the home's purlieu, sand granules seeming ever-so soft, water murky as the moon illuminates against the distant waves,

It's time to rest, to forget about all the revolting missions, all the inconvenient and inexpedient moments that crashed us, we are here to rest, just the two of us...
