Y/n's POV:

Rafe carries me in the yacht due to my legs bing in an excruciating pain, he is proud though, about what he's done, he cannot wipe that snarky grin off his face, he makes sure that we didn't forget anything as I tick in the most sacrosanct essentials such as passport, legislation documents, license and more...

'So we have everything?' I ask as he smirks and paces towards the steering wheel,

'If we forget something, I'll just buy a new one.' He says, I still roam through the bags, making sure that we have everything,

As much as I can see, everything's here...

We make our way towards the airport...

'You're mum is nice.' Rafe suddenly says as I crook my head in confusion,

'Sorry? How do you know her?' I ask frantically, he smiles,

'She was calling whilst you were in the bathroom, it's rude to just let it ring, so I picked it up, she cannot wait to meet me, you've got yourself a contender.' He says, inclining to the competition,

'It's ruder to pick up when someone's mum is calling and not notifying later.'  I respond,

'I just notified you.' He says,

'What-what do you mean meet her?' I ask,

'Once we arrive back, she was desperate for us to go for dinner.' He says, all of this is totally new, why the bloody hell am I finding that out now?

'As soon as we arrive?' I ask as he nods whilst turning the wheel, locking eyes with me, he manages to make the most simply intercourse tense, the way he twirls the steering wheel-however manages to keep eyes locked with mine...

'I can barely walk...' I mutter as he chuckles,

'I know, that was my initial intention.' He praises, I scoff and glance at the sea,

'I'll be intelligent...' He jokes, right as his eyes linger down my body,

'Right, intelligent,' I respond sarcastically,

'Don't believe me, wait until the dinner.' He justifies,

'So you're a mama's-boy now?' I ask, he tenses and clenches his jaw,

'Call me that once again, and I'll make sure that your whole body is in pain, not just your legs, and the rest of the journey you'll spend swimming.' He responds...

We were almost there, the pilot of the jet announces that we were merely away from the land, Rafe caresses my thigh whilst examining me as I read...

'Rafe, I will have to meet with my friends, I cannot just stop contacting with them...' I mumble as he tenses,

'Why the hell would you need to meet them? I don't like them...' He responds, his grasp tighter and he's not caressing me anymore, I was fearing this conversation a lot, he is rather possessive over me, but they are my friends...

'Rafe, they are just my friends, I can't just disappear from their lives...'

'I'll introduce you to better friends, I told you, I don't like them...'

'I need to meet up with them, at least for now and then we'll sort it out.' I compromise, it's been a long journey, maybe I can try and negotiate in the morning...

'I'm going with you and don't even argue.' He says, fine, at least something, we'll resolves this once he's less tense about the whole trip, I can't leave them, I materialise that they are not on the best terms, and it will be problematic to neutralise that, but I have to try, they are important to me...

Rafe helps me step out of the car as I see them, they all smile and run towards me, Rafe pulls me closer, making it obvious that I'm with him...

They don't hesitate as they all come closer, embracing me,

Rafe still holds my hand, even in the throng of people, he holds it tightly...

'We have so much to catch up on, but not to be rude, why is he here?' Kiara asks as Rafe tilts his head,

'Do you have a problem?' He asks as I stop him by placing my hand on his chest,

'I will explain everything, I promise, it's been a long journey, long, hectic journey...' I reassure,

Rafe pulls me closer,

'So now you're hanging out with the kooks?' John B. Asks...

'Yeah, she found her own sort, you know, better than you lot.' Rafe says, stepping closer to John B.

It was a bad idea, horrible idea,

Rafe hovers above John B, looking down on him, 'touch her, and I'll kill you.' Rafe says,

'Alright, let's catch up later, it's getting late, we will talk about it-I promise-' I mumble, trying to leave everyone unscathed and uninjured...

'We're not finished Pougue.' Rafe says as we step towards the car,

Never again, this was the most absurd and preposterous idea, they don't match, will they ever be on at least decent terms?

I doubt that...
