A/N: Part 1 of Date night!
A couple of days have passed, and Tommy has been doing well considering his morning sickness. Which only happens twice a day depending, he swears that the tea I make him is the reason. And ya know? I believe him because it really does help him. Anyway, I am currently over at Paul and Vince's place since they agreed to watch Tyler and Gunner for 2 days. Tonight, is all about Tommy. I have a romantic date night planned, a dinner I am making but before hand a romantic photo shoot I also am surprising him with. Got a lot to do today and It's only mid-morning. Tommy is aware of course, that our sons are here but he doesn't know exactly what I have planned. He just knows, we have a date night.
"Thanks, so very much you guys for doing this! I just wanted to do something special for Tommy and so a date night, I've also planned a romantic photo shoot. I just hope he likes it." I run my hands thru my hair, feeling a little nervous or very nervous.
"Sixx, relax man. I'm sure he will love it, now how's he holding up and all with carrying another set of multiples? They, ok?" Vince reassures me and rubs his swollen belly. He is just now three months along just one month behind Lee, Mick's husband Eric is Six months pregnant.
"Yeah, your right Vin. He's been doing well; he has morning sickness at least twice a day but this tea I make him works wonders and he's been able to eat a decent amount. He was SO scared at first, but I well I've got him, I told him I'd be his rock. And the babies seem to be fine so far. Now how are YOU doing?" The nervousness isn't so bad now.
"That's good to hear Nikki. You're an amazing partner to him. I have an amazing partner as well, Paul is nothing like I'd thought, but everything I need. And my pregnancy is going well. Paul is thrilled as you can imagine. He should be back down any minute, he put your sons down for their nap." Vince sighs dreamily and sure enough Paul comes into view a minute later and joins Vince on the couch, giving him a kiss that starts to get a little heated but then he remembers they have company. Paul rubs Vince's belly in wonder, I can't blame him. I am the same way.
"They fell asleep fast, their good little boys. You and Tommy are doing an amazing job with them, never doubt that." Paul smiles at me.
"Thanks man, really means a lot and thanks too for keeping them for a few days." I state gratefully, "I'm going to get back to Tommy." WE chat for a few minutes more and then I make my way back home, all the while mentally preparing what I'm going to do and all for today/tonight.
I arrive home and enter the living room to find Tommy curled up on the couch, tea beside him, tv on and reading a book. He takes my breath away!
"Space-Honey, I'm back." I speak softly so as not to startle him, and he looks up and beams at me.
"Nikki! I am so glad to see you! The boys, ok? How's Paul and Vince?" Tommy gets more and more excited as he speaks placing his book down.
"Their ok babe, Paul & Vin are fine, and I am SO glad to see you, my love. I've got so much planned for us today/tonight! Any morning sickness at all today?" I enthuse as I sit down on the couch and pull him into my arms, kiss him lovingly and then place my hands on his belly feeling where out triplets lay.
"No actually! My fingers are crossed though. I feel tired of course, like I could use a nap. And I am so very excited for our date night!" Tommy yawns during the last part.
"Why don't you take a nap then? You do look like you need one space-honey." I suggest gently.
"I'm not going to argue you with you love." I make a mental note to prepare more of his favorite 'wonder tea' as he calls it and we make our way upstairs, me making sure Tommy is ok before helping him in our bed and the second his head hits the pillow, he's out.
I head downstairs to my studio to prep for the romantic photo shoot I have planned. God, I love my studio! It's one of my favorite places in the house, and Tommy helped me decorate it, he'd told me to help make it even more special because he knows how much it means to me.
I enter my studio and I swear I can STILL smell the fresh paint even though it was painted months ago. I set to work, checking my photography equipment, and setting up spaces for the shoot. It takes me awhile, but I get it done and am satisfied with the result, it looks like a lover's paradise. That being done, I head back upstairs and check on Tommy who is still sleeping...good and then once more head back downstairs to make the wonder tea, prep for dinner tonight, his favorite Italian and then make my way outside to our enclosed pool patio. Tommy hasn't been out here in quite a while, so I already have it decorated, candles, roses (I make sure they are fresh and will hold out for a day or two) and I work on stringing up lanterns to be lit later tonight and survey the scene. It looks perfect! Tommy, I know will love it!
Tommy, oh my beloved space-honey! I can't wait for our special date night! I know you will love it, I'm not so nervous about that anymore. I know you will love whatever we do, you always do. It means so much more than I can ever say that you love me, that you are the mother to our children....and that your love has saved me, saved my life. I've put you thru SO much Tommy, but still you loved me...you love me still.
