In Karan's room
Karan looked up to see Dr. Mahajan standing there. He had no energy or interest to talk to anyone right now. He just nodded and again started looking blankly towards the sky.
Dr. Mahajan- Main abhi Monami se kamre ke bahar khade hokar Monami aur Sid ki baat sun raha tha.
Karan- Toh koi ameer ladka mila Monami ki shaadi ke liye?? *in a hurt, angry but low tone*
Dr. Mahajan- Karan, I know tumhein bohot gussa a raha hai but jaisa tum samaj rahe ho waisa kuch nahi hai.
Karan- Right! Monami ko yeh nahi lagta ki main usse as a civil asset use karna chahta hoon, ya phir ye ki usse achanak se main phirse accha lagne laga hoon? Dr. Mahajan, I do not want to cross my limits, main abhi baat karne ki condition mein nahi hoon. Please leave me alone for a while, sir.
Dr. Mahajan- Tum ek baar meri baat sunlo then you can decide, please ek baar sunlo?
Karan took a deep breath. Just before he was about to answer Faizi enters.
Faizi- Koi zaroorat nahi hain! Aapki beti ne already bohot baatein suna li hain, aap toh phir bhi unke baap hain. Please jayie yahan se! Hume aapki batein, sympathy bla bla nahi chahiye. Please!
Karan emotionlessly- Faizi bolne de. Ab itna sun hi liya hai, aur sahi!
Faizi- Karan, iss sab ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Already beti ne toh kar rakha hai itna mahan kaam! In fact tu abhi ghar chal raha hai humare saath and hum kuch nahi sunenge!
Dr. Mahajan lost his cool- You know what, meri beti ekdum correct thi! you guys are self centered! Doosron ki kya hi padi hogi? Ek rejection tak nahi tolerate kar sakte na? Kya galat kya bola meri beti ne? Tum fauji log sirf apne watan se loyal rehte ho!!
Before Dr. Mahajan could speak anything else, Faizi dragged Karan into the jeep.
In the academy's canteen:
Sumanji- Mujhe toh vishwas nahi ho raha ki woh sab Monami ne bola tha!
Koel- Haan, Monami aisi nahi hai! Usne chadha rakhi thi kya??
Bala- Chadhayee thi toh woh bhi akele akele?? Waise bohot cheap brand ki hogi daaru 😒
Everyone shoots death glares at him. Bala shuts up.
Bhabhi- Mujhe lagta hai Monami kuch chupa rahi hai, anyways main abhi Karan and Faizi ke saath ghar jaa rahi hoon. Karan ko kuch khila pila bhi doongi. Waise bhi woh abhi emotionally and mentally stable nahi hoga.
Chitra- Yes ma'am. Sir ko hum sab ki taraf se #take care keh dena please. 🥺
Bhabhi smiled and left.
