Dating a Chronically Ill S/O (Jake)

- When you first tell Jake about your condition he is quiet

- He's afraid to admit he doesn't understand a word you're saying 

- In the beginning of your relationship when your illness flares up Jake remains distant

- He's scared of saying/doing the wrong things and making it worse on you 

- That might be because you tend to snap at him when your symptoms get particularly bad. You don't mean it. You're just in so much pain that little things annoy you 

- But over time he learns what helps you and the best way to support you 

- Jake agrees to go to doctors appointments with you. Even if medical situations make him nervous 

- He's rather feel uneasy then have you face them alone  

- Jake might not always understand what you are going through but he tries his best to be there for you
