goldric week day 4 - cuddles and kissing

ive been dying over here so the goldric week prompts are obviously Not in sync with the actual week, but they're still coming bc i LIEK EM.

Edric could Not fucking believe that he was able to call Hunter his boyfriend. That was a huge motivator for "going with Amity to the library" every couple of days, as he called it to the Blight Parents.

Edric had paid a lot more care and attention to the progression of their relationship though, since he knew about Hunter's trauma from the coven. He didn't know of any traumatic situations involving intimacy, but he couldn't be too sure. He'd rather take things at Hunter's pace, since Edric just liked being around him. 

Edric knocked happily on the door of Hunter's room, rolling on his feet as he awaited it to open. Hunter slams open the door, yanking the boy into a bone crushing hug.

"Hey, Ed," Hunter murmurs into his shoulder, nuzzling his face into the skin. 

Edric thought his soul fucking left his body. He felt heat all over his face at the contact, not being able to properly function.

They were both extremely touch starved, but weren't aware until they got together. Physical touch had become a major source of showing affection towards each other, but Edric was still conscious enough to let Hunter lead and initiate most of it.

This always confused Hunter, though. He felt like maybe he was touching his partner too much, like Edric didn't want it but didn't know how to say it, maybe? He didn't know, and he thought about it a lot. But he seemed to forget every time Edric actually came over, feeling like the other boy was a magnet.

Edric rid himself of his thoughts, and lovingly held onto the boy in front of him. "Hi, hun," he chuckled, running his lanky hands up and down Hunter's back.

Hunter pulled back gently, Edric immediately removing his hands. He looked up to the green haired boy, giving him a toothy smile. 

"C'mon, I'm sure you've had a long day. Come cuddle with your adorable boyfriend," Hunter laughed, pulling Edric towards his pillow pile. Edric kicked the door shut and leaped before Hunter onto the pile, posing as he fell in place.

"Oh my fucking god, you're obnoxious," Hunter chuckled, settling down next to the boy. 

"Eh, maybe," Edric sighed, immediately holding his boy close. "But you like meeee," Edric teased, poking Hunter's nose. Hunter blinked at the contact, then smiled and looked away.

"Whatever," he grumbled, burying himself in Edric's chest. "How was your day?" Edric asked, Hunter bringing his head up to meet his eyes. Both of their pupils were blown out so wide it's a miracle either of them could see. 

"It was pretty good! I went to the library with Luz, lost Luz, and then played bingo with Hooty." Hunter said, a small smile at the memories of the day.

Edric beamed, adoring the changes to Hunter's demeanor in the past few months. 

Hunter looked back at him after finishing his own thoughts, face reddening at the fond look in his eye. He hid his face with a small "hmph" into the boy's chest, making Edric feel lightheaded. 

"how'syour day," Hunter asked through muffled fabric, still feeling too shy to come up from where he was. 

Edric smiled, hugging onto his boy a bit tighter. "It was alright, didn't really do too much, then I got to see my you!" Edric said sweetly, Hunter feeling a tug on the corner of his lips.
