INT. MINI MART - DAY
ETHAN and KAT stumble into the store, unable to keep their hands off each other. Ethan is overly casual, almost sloppy. All of Kat's accessories match and her choker connects to an unseen piece beneath her top.
KAT
We're here for Ashtray.
Fezco nods in the direction of Ashtray's office and Kat pulls Ethan along.
INT. MINI MART - ASHTRAY'S OFFICE - CONTINUOUS
As Kat backs into the fridge, pulling Ethan along from left to right of frame, the camera tracks and the edit swipes...
RUE (V.O.)
Things had been just peachy for Kat and Ethan.
Music cue: "Freak" by Doja Cat.
INT. KAT'S HOUSE - KAT'S BEDROOM - DAY
...so that their momentum carries them onto the bed in a profile shot, Kat pulling Ethan on top of her, and then arcs back to an overhead shot of them heavily making out on Kat's bed.
RUE (V.O.)
Kat respected that Ethan was a virgin.
Kat smiles at Ethan as she gets onto her knees and begins to unbuckle his pants.
RUE (V.O.)
Like, head three times a week respectful.
Quick cuts of Ethan's face in close-up - coming, each at a different location. Bedroom. Nighttime car. Bathroom at a party.
RUE (V.O.)
But Ethan always reciprocated.
Quick cuts of Kat's face in close up with varied logistical positions - coming just as enthusiastically. The last position sees a fully clothed Kat wearing a mini-skirt and sitting on Ethan's face.
RUE (V.O.)
In fact, Kat kinda liked that they still hadn't had sex yet.
Ket and Ethan lay in bed together, serene. She kisses him on the cheek and gets up in a casual nighty. The camera tracks with her from left to right as she enters the bathroom.
RUE (V.O.)
Meant she felt less guilty for not telling him about--
INT. UNKNOWN PATRON'S HOUSE - NIGHT - FLASHBACK
Kat, dressed in leather and mesh and in her cat mask, enters from left to right (match cutting off the previous tracking shot) but our image is digitally distorted as if we are filming the laptop screen of the UNKNOWN PATRON. His whisper is shocking because while the image is distorted, his voice is crystal clear.
