Kim plugged her phone into the stereo system, and played the first song she found.
Smiling, as she recognised it.
Suddenly, two arms wrapped around her from behind.
"Hey, love."
Kim twisted, so that she was facing her boyfriend.
"Hey, Charles."
He smiled at her, before he leaned in and kissed her gently.
"How was your day?"
"It was good. I missed you, though."
Kim blushed and looked down.
"I missed you too."
Suddenly, the song came to an end, and the sweet but slow music of Taylor Swift began to play.
Charles' smile grew even wider, as he and Kim began to hum along to the music.
We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January

Kim sang, entrancing her boyfriend and making him shiver.

Kim continued.
She looked beautiful, swaying in Charles' arms, singing along to the music.
We could light a bunch of candles,
And dance around the kitchen, baby.

Charles joined in this time, twirling Kim, before he pulled her back towards him.

The two of them sang together, filling the air with the sweet sound of their voices, blending together in perfect harmony.

Kim sang, eyes shining.

They sang together, one last time, before the song ended and Charles pulled Kim back to him and wrapped his arms around her.
"You'll always be my lover, right?" He asked her softly.
Kim laughed quietly.
"Always."
The two of them closed the last of the distance between them, their lips meeting a sweet kiss.
They'll always be there for each other.
They were lovers after all.
