Request from @TillyG584. Jaime feels a burning connection with the oldest Stark girl during the feast at Winterfell for King Robert's visit. The reader secretly has fire powers.

Our house was full of loud music, laughter and tones of drinking. Too much for me. Being the oldest Stark daughter I have people watching me all the time. Other ladies talking about marriage and having kids or even needle point frustrates me. I'm nothing like the others...because of my powers. I can manipulate and create fire at will. My parents have hired one Master to examine me when I turned 12 and actually melted my sparing sword when I lost to my eldest brother Robb in a playful moment. There's never been any solution to why I was born with them.

Resting my back against the cold stone my gaze looking towards the Godswood I feel at peace. "Lady Stark I didn't expect to find you out here." The voice of a male interrupts my calming moments. Following the direction of the voice I feel a lump get stuck in my throat realizing I'm staring at green eyes. Long blonde hair and all dressed in golden armor. The man who stands before me is Jaime Lannister, the Kingslayer my mom calls him. My eyes lock onto his feeling a blush on my cheeks. He really is attractive as they say.

“Darn You Lannister. Go away I don’t want to talk to you.” I spoke with annoyance in my tone. Normally I’m not like this but I don’t want to fall for a man based on his looks. He strides forward leaning his right arm on the windowsill. “Why not. I’d hate to leave someone like you alone.” Tossing my hair over my shoulder I scoff. “Loud parties have never been my style. Now if you’ll please move aside I must return to the torture.”

I turn to leave but feel his right hand gently spin me backwards into his chest. My hands press against the cold armor chest plate. “There’s no real reason why we can’t just stay out here together. Truth is I’ve never cared for them much either.” His green eyes looking down at me with a small smirk. "What's that look for, Lannister?" I question seeing him relax under my touch with a small smile. "I thought all Northerners had a cold touch...but yours is warm."

My eyes trailed to my hands seeing a light orange glow coming from them. Fire is warming his chest. Oh crap. "Do your eyes always have a orange glow, lady Y/n?" He tilts his head to the side questioning me. "Typically only when I feel a comfortable desire, Ser Jaime." Did I actually just say that. His left hand gently moves to my waist while his right hand intertwined with mine. My left hand gently clutching his shoulder.

We slowly start dancing to the music and I lay my head on his chest feeling his chin resting ontop of my head. "Lady Y/n I know this is sudden but I feel a connection to you." Lifting my head from his chest I raise a brow. "Would you still if I told you the truth...of what I can do?" He leans down resting his forehead on mine for me to feel some of his long locks brushing my face. "Yes I would."

"I uh - I have powers..." I trail off seeing Jaime never remove his gaze from me. "I can control fire...like this." Taking a step back I flick my right wrist having fire appear in my hand. Closing my eyes for a moment I concentrate before hearing the roaring of flames. Seeing all the empty torches are now lit by me. Finally my eyes stare into his to see they're lit up in amazement. "This is unlike anything I've ever seen...would you mind if I stayed?"

I blush lightly having to blink a few times, thinking I misunderstood. "You're serious, Ser Lannister?" He slowly stepped forward cupping my face in his hands saying. "I am. I wanna stay with you, Y/n." He leans down gently brushing his lips over mine before smiling down at me, waiting for a reply. Mother won't like this. Just walk away. I tell myself but I can't resist him.

Leaning up I softly kiss him. Wrapping my arms around his neck feeling his arms go to my waist. "Just say you won't let go, Jaime Lannister." A huge smile on my lips. "I'll never let go you're my fiery wolf, Y/n Stark." He matches the same smile, that really suits him well. Hopefully I can see him more often.
