Down.
Smashed into the ground.
Throat burns with dirt.
Limbs ruined, unrecognized.
Bones form an angel of mud.
Stretched fingers grip.
Hair strings of grease.
Fingernails hide boogeymen underneath.
Exhausted lunges chug along.
Breaths gush.
Lips painted with dust.
Smile down into the dirt.
Down dirt smiles define your worth.
