Battered and feared.
Only wish is to disappear.
Scamper pretending to be small.
Viewed as an enormous wall.
Kind within a haunted figure.
All tastes are now bitter.
See only the body I take for shelter.
Not the comfiest sweater.
Whimper at whispers of hate.
The clock always rings a bit too late.
Limping away within masked shame.
Fickle as a flame.
Frozen happiness waiting to thaw.
Doused in self pity.
Not an ounce of pretty.
Complete but unsatisfied.
Weep wondering why.
Kneeling before someone greater than I.
Howling a sorry and a final goodbye.
