Basking in the glory.
Of unforgotten past.
Granting permission.
For hidden dry eyes.
Gone untarnished.
Unlike the rest.
Words spoken unjustly.
Leaving breathless crowds.
No response condoned.
No grievances welcomed.
No such thing as forgiveness.
For the missing will be missed.
Lips loosing luster.
Whisper long gone longing.
Never gracing us with its beauty.
Delight never friend.
Guilt defeats as foe.
Glory pairing with its fight.
Pray the sinking will follow.
Drinking Death's commands.
Swallowing its demise.
As awaited love.
Lusting for its return.
