Chapter 15 - Nekoma vs Karasuno

After we finished stretching we lined up on our side of the court and waited for the match to start. Before the match could start Daichi wanted to say something to us

"We haven't been a team for very long, we're still kind of finding our groove, so we're not very coordinated, on top of all that, this is our first game using our new starting line up, we don't know anything about Nekoma as a team, but whatever kind of wall we find ourselves up against today" he looked at all of us with a his silly game face and continued "we can rise above it" Daichi was about to continue with his little motivational speech, I looked at the floor and smiled

"Daichi's right" everyone looked at me when Noya said

"Well of course he is" I looked up and said

"Any wall they throw at us we will rise above it because we are crows and we are best at flight!" Everyone cheered and got back into the line for the game.

The advisor from Nekoma started to speak "let the practice game between Nekoma high and Karasuno high officially begin!" We all bowed and thanked each other for the game.

The rest of us went off court and stood in the box, I hated being in the box. I wanted to be on that court playing with my team.

The whistle blew and the game started, the number 5 player served first and it went straight to Asahi, but he didn't receive it well I heard Noya yell "that's what happens when you skip practice for a month!" Asahi stuttered

"M-My bad" that was sent to Kageyama and I watched the duo do the famous quick attack earning up a point, everyone in the gym stopped and stared at them while us lot from Karasuno cheered, I saw out of the corner of my eye that coach Nekomata was freaking out about what had just happened. I smirked to myself and continued to watch the game.

Suga's P.O.V

I looked over to see Charlotte smiling "her smile is so perfect I love it" I shake my head to get ride of these thoughts and watch as Noya comes off the court to get a drink, i give him his water bottle and said "Hey nice work" he turned to me and smiled

"Oh thanks Suga, that libero of theirs isn't playing around" I stared at him for a few moments and replied

"Huh?" He continued

"Even though he has never seen Asahi's spike, he got to it" we looked back at the court as the whistle blew

"Sorry could you ho.d this for me" Noya asked as he gave me his water bottle, I nodded and watched him run back onto the court.

I heard Takeda say "Nishinoya sure moves around a lot doesn't he?" I looked at him and replied

"Yes sir the Libero specialises in defence so he'll come out serval times during a game"

"Our middle blockers, Hinata and Tsukishima, have to go to the rear to serve, and then after the rally is done they switch out with Nishinoya" after I told him that I turned back to watch the game

The game went on and we were doing pretty well, then Nekoma called for a time out which is pretty early, but I think we scared them.

When the whole team came over Charlotte and I gave each member their bottles, I was about to get Kageyama's bottle when Charlotte reached for it at the same time and my hand was on top of hers, we both stared atcour hands, then looked at each other. I was blushing and so was she, I removed my hand from hers and said "I-I'm so sorry Charlotte"

"No... no i-its fine really" she replied while blushing and smiling

"I didn't mean to" I started to panic a little

"It's okay, it was an accident" she took Kageyama's water bottle and gave it to him.

"OMG I touched Charlotte's hand! It felt so soft, her eyes are so beautiful" of course I don't say this out loud, I scream this in my head, I smiled still thinking about what had just happened.

Charlotte's P.O.V

"AHH" I scream in my head, "I can't believe Sugawara touched my hand! His hand felt so warm in mine, wait does that mean he can be mine? No remember what those girls said" I sigh at my own thoughts and give Kageyama his bottle.
