Chapter 16 - You were born a crow

After the break the game started again with us in the lead, I watched the game instantly but then I realise something wasn't right, I keep watching to see what it is. I saw Kageyama do a straight and it send shivers down my spin.

I heard Tanaka say something then Suga said "you and me both" i looked at him then back at the score board, and see that we are still wining, which is good.

After a while i see the scores change "shit" Ennoshita looks at me

"Are you okay?" I look up at him

"No we are losing" Ennoshita smiled

"It's only the first set, if we loose this set then we havd the second set" I knew he was right, so I nodded my head and continued to watch the game.

I watched as Hinata was about to spike. He opened his eyes, that's when I knew something was wrong.

After the first set was over all of us were around coach Ukai with Hinata, Kageyama said "look we can't get discouraged right now, we can take the next set" coach Ukai sighed

"There's not a spike in thd world that can't be stopped red, you gotta stay focused" Tanaka tried to cheer him up

"We'll nail this one for sure" then Noya joined in

"Kick it's ass" Hinata didn't move from looking at the ground, i needed to do something and i knew I would get in Trouble but I didn't care.

I walked out from behind the boys and stood infront of coach Ukai and Hinata, the boys were a little confused, and what I'm about to do will shock them "Hinata" I said firmly making each of the boys shiver, he looked up at me

"Yes" he said with a disappointed tone, I clenched my fists and slapped him hard so much that it echoed around the gym every boy stared at me open mouthed

"Why did you choose Karasuno Hinata?" He held his cheek and said

"Because I want to be the next tiny giant"

"Wrong" he looked at me and I smiled

"You choose Karasuno because you are a crow and you were born to be a crow, now get back on that court and show those cats the crow you are" he looked at me and smiled

"Right" I smiled that my plan worked, I watched as each of the boys got back onto the court.

Once the boys were on the court I felt coach Ukai staring a hole into my soul, I turned to him and bowed "I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't of hit Hinata, but I needed to do something to cheer him up. He is constantly put down by Tsukishima and Kageyama for not being the best so I thou-" I got cut off

"I'm not going to yell at you Charlotte" coach Ukai told me, I looked at him

"Huh? What not?"

"Because you did what you thought was right and to be honest it surprised me, but it seemed to have worked" he said to me, I looked at Hinata

"He may have a red cheek but he is more into the game than ever now" I smiled

"I agree, just do me one thing Charlotte" I looked back at coach

"Of course"

"Try not to abuse my players and your team mates again" he smiled and I giggled

"I'll try not to coach, but I can't promise anything" I smiled and walked back to the box, everyone smiled at me and i laughed

"Dont worry, I'm not going to do that again" but I knew I would have to do that again
