Later on, the boys decided to stay and keep both Tori and Jade company so they don't feel too alone also, they really want to make Jade feel at ease while on injury rest. "Andre, could you please refill my cup with some more iced water?" Jade asked her friend. "No problem, Jade." He replied and got up to get her some more water. "Use the fridge." Tori requested. "I know what to do." Andre jokingly said. All 3 chuckled and Beck was looking at his phone with a confused look. Tori notices her friend with the look. "Beck, you okay?" She asked him. "Yeah. Um...turn on the news. There's a segment on Jade aka Ember on her injury." Beck informed them. Tori then grabs the remote and turns it on the news channel

"For those of you who haven't seen the CFC last night, last year's champion, Ember Steele, suffered a serious injury during her fight with a fighter from Russia. We are getting reports that Ms. Steele has suffered minor injuries but will most likely be out. What you are about to witness might be gruesome so viewer discretion is advised." The news anchor reported as it goes to the fight where Jade was in her fight with Natalia. "As you can see, Ember Steele and her opponent, Natalia Rachmaninoff, were in a very intense fight but over the course of the fight, Rachmaninoff decided to go overboard and inflicted serious damaged by slamming Ms. Steele on the ground with full force." The news anchor reported as the boys see Jade getting tossed on the ground with full force and screaming in sheer pain. Tori looked away as she doesn't want to be reminded. "The entire fight was over and the night ended earlier due to the injured fame fighter. Ms. Rachmaninoff is fined $5,000 for such unsportsmanlike performance and is banned from the CFC, sources tell us." The anchor said and the screen shows the commissioner of the CFC. "After last night's gruesome performance done by Ms. Rachmaninoff and the injury she inflicted on Ms. Steele, the CFC Fights will be postponed until further notice. No one has a right to show such unsportsmanlike performance and think they can get away from it. We take the safety of our fighters very seriously and we hope and pray that Ms. Steele has a full recovery." The commissioner said in a press conference.

Tori then switch it to another channel to get her mind off of the news. The boys were stunned at what they saw and looked at the girls. "That was her?" They both asked together. Tori nodded. "Why would she do that to Jade?" Andre asked. "Because she thought that if she can beat me, Tori would leave me for her." Jade simply answered. "So she is after Tori?" Beck simply summed it up. "Yeah, she is after my girlfriend. But I still won because Tori is still here with me." Jade replied. She then hears Tori crying and with her free hand, she touches the tip of Tori's head and stroked her hair. "Babe. It's okay. She got her karma and I still got you. It worked out." Jade assured the crying teenager. "I'm sorry. I'll be right back." Tori apologized and got up. She walked up the stairs to her room. "Beck, can you please go make sure she is okay for me?" Jade asked her ex-boyfriend. "Sure. Andre, stay here in case Jade needs anything." Beck replied. He got up and head upstairs and went in the direction of Tori's room. He can hear her crying and saying, "It should have been me. It should have been me." Beck knew that seeing Jade wearing her neck brace and looking completely out of it is really getting to his best friend. He then proceeded to knock on the door lightly. "Tori. It's me." Beck called out. She then hears the door start to open and he sees her with tear marks on her face. "Come on in." She said and walked to her bed. He enters her room and sits next to her on the bed. "Tori, I know you feel responsible for what happened. But you didn't know that Natalia Rachmaninoff was gonna go that far. It could have happened to anyone. Plus, Jade would take any injury if it means she still has you in her life. You are her world, Tori. Nothing makes her, even more, happier than you ever since you transfer from your former high school to Hollywood Arts. Granted, Jade and I dated before she knew that something was off about herself and knew that she liked women more than men and I am still okay with it because I wanted her to be happy. And I am glad she is happy with you." Beck talked to his best friend. Tori gave him a teary smile

"Thank you, Beck. That was really sweet of you to say but it is my fault. I should have never retired. I should have been in that arena fighting Rachmaninoff and I should be the one wearing that neck brace, not Jade. She doesn't deserve it." Tori spoke after hearing Beck's speech. "Tori, I understand what you are saying, but put Jade in your shoes. What would she do if...you know what, never mind. I know what she would do if she was in your shoes." Beck said to her. "Exactly. And I know what I have to do." Tori tells him. That put a confused look on Beck's face. "What are you saying?" He asked her. Tori then got up from her bed hesitating to tell him. "Torin tell me what you are planning to do now." Beck begged. She then took a breath and turn to face her best friend. "I have to go back to be Shelby Marx." She simply answered.
