HyeIn's POV:

Flashback :

There was a loud bang and then there was a sound of something dropping on the floor. Must be a pen.
"Immune."
Someone said.
"Plasma! Injected!"

There were continuous hushed whispers thrown towards me, I knew it was about me but the words were so random that I had to fall back and rephrase them.

Apparently I was unconscious , how I lost my conciousness is a thing that I'll never know or that's what they think.

" You fell down the stairs."
A voice said and I turned to search for the person as soon as I opened my eyes. It was dark, really dark and it smelled like bleach and hospital but it was not a hospital. It was a dark studio. I can tell it was my studio.
A lady looked down at me with prying eyes as I was sprawled on the only bed present in the small frame of a room.

"I fell down the stairs?"
I asked and the lady nodded, I have seen her before, she works under Renoir. How can I forget her name, I never trusted her.

"Jun turned into a monster after he drugged himself."
The lady continued and walked towards a chair in the room before settling down on it.

My eyebrows cocked up.
"Why would he do that?"

The lady shrugged.

"He brought it to himself, he said that his blood was the only best one to inject that plasma to."

I stared down at my hands.

"Jun said me yesterday that he created two variations. One of them acted as an anti virus. It could kill the virus. Did you not find it in the lab? We can inject it in him and save him."

The lady just sat there staring at me stoically as if I was not even there.

" He's a monster now. He can't tell us anything about the anti virus anymore. "

My eyes welled up tears.

" But why would he inject it to himself! " I yelled at her, for some reason her cold exterior was making me angry.
"He was even afraid to go near it let alone create that thing!"

"But at the end he did, he created it, he wanted the entire profit for himself, that selfish brat wanted to credit himself for the anti virus. He didn't want to listen to us and ended up injecting the virus to his own body so that he can't spill to us the whereabouts of the anti virus. "

I went agape. Jun did what? He can't do anything like that, he was just a young boy like me, of my age, he was forced to create the virus. He was forced to create the anti virus as well, only because Reinor wanted to get the Government under his control. He was forced, this lady must be lying! They killed Jun, there had been something going on in the lab which I and Jun were not aware of.

If the virus somehow spreads out then it can create a chaos, I need to find the anti virus.

But I was angry.

I was angry at Reinor I was angry at this bitch sitting across me, I was angry at Jun and I was angry at myself.

"If only y'all didn't had to create a virus then Jun would not have turned into a monster! What good will it do anyways! Just bring you some goddamn money? Aren't we doing illegal stuffs which bring us money anyways? Why did you have to do this!"

I was yelling and spilling out the anger out of my body, I could feel my stomach churn and throat go dry but I still yelled like my life depended on it.

But before I knew it the lady pulled at my hair bringing her pale face closer to mine and my yells stopped, her eyes threatened me to continue my tantrums but then I felt a cold sharp metal drawing down my throat.

A knife!

"I dare you to question Reinor's decisions." She hissed and I gulped.

I couldn't do anything.

Yes, this is the truth.

I am useless.

"Do you wanna question Reinor's decisions?"

I shook my head.

"Not at all, JiHae."
