55. Uhm

Monday came quick and Remus tried to calm Spencer down but her nerves were high.

"Want tea?" he asked.

Spencer shook her head, quickly getting ready.

"Love" Remus said as he laid on his elbow.

"Yeah?" she asked.

"Come here" he pet the bed.

"Remus" she chuckled, putting on her ring. "I'm serious"

Spencer let out a deep breath before sitting beside him.

Remus took her hand, "breathe with me."

He took a deep breath in, Spencer followed.

They did that for a couple seconds until Spencer's hand stopped shaking.

"Better?" he asked.

"No" she lightly chuckled. "But thank you" she kissed him.

She got off the bed and looked at herself in the mirror.

Remus stood right behind her.

"It'll be okay" he whispered, wrapping his hands around her waist.

"And if it's not?" she asked.

"You tried and that's all that matters" he kissed her head.

Spencer nodded as she looked at him through the mirror.

She decided to wait for them outside of the train, they would arrive during her lunch period but she didn't want to waste anytime in making herself look better ready then.

As parents came out, and she didn't see them, she thought maybe they decided not to.

Until she heard her mothers voice.

She turned around and faced her.

"You came" she said.

"Yes" she replied.

"Hi" she looked at both of them.

Her father smiled.

"Uhm- we could take a carriage or we could walk" Spencer offered. "Your bags will be taken to the hotel" she smiled.

"I could do a walk" her father looked at her mother.

"Sure"

"Great" she led the way.

"This isn't awkward at all" Emily nodded.

Spencer smiled at her.

"Winter is beautiful here, the castle gets covered in snow" Spencer nodded.

"Yeah I think we have a photo together, with the castle in the back" her father spoke.

"Uhm probably" Spencer nodded. "I don't really remember."

"Here's the Lake," she pointed, "don't know if you guys remember that but there it is" she added.

"Spencer" Snape spoke from in front of her. "And... parents" he looked at them. He looked back at her, widening his eyes slightly.

"This is Professor Snape, potions Professor" Spencer nodded.

Her father reached out his hand, Spencer brought it down.

"Right, I remember now" he chuckled, looking at his daughter and back at him. "I look forward to your lecture Professor" he added.

Snape nodded. "May I take Spencer away for a moment?"
