Chapter 5

Raph's POV

The room was silent as everyone took in what was going on, Leo smiled softly at each one of us. He looked a lot different from what he did when he left. He was taller than even Donnie now, his muscles were nothing compared to ours, his skin seemed to be a darker green, and he had little white scars across his arms.

"It's good to see you guys."

Leo said trying to break the awkwardness in the room. Nobody said anything, just stared in disbelief.

Liz was the first one to break the awkward air, quickly she rushed over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, catching him off guard and the rest of us. It was like she set everyone else into motion, Mikey nearly tackled Leo to ground once Liz moved out of the way, Donnie excitingly left Kelly's side and rushed over to Leo before wrapping him in a hug as well.

Kelly waited until the others were done before she softly hugged fearless giving him a small kiss on the cheek. I watched in anger, so consumed in watching them that I didn't notice Chanel now by my side.

"Baby are you okay?"

She asked as she placed her hand on my shoulder. I looked at her to see her tired brown eyes full concern for me, her other hand resting on her round stomach.

"I'm fine princess."

I smiled as I placed my hand  on top of hers that was on her stomach, she smiled up at me as Leo walked up to us.

"When is the little one due?"

He asked with a smile. Anger again filled as I meet eyes with him, glaring at him with a look as cold as ice. He did his best to ignore me and look at Chanel who looked uncomfortable in this situation, giving a little cough to clear her throat.

"She's going to be here sometime next month."

She said with a smile.

"Leo your going to have to tell us all about Central America dude."

Mikey said as he wrapped his arms around Liz waist resting his head on her shoulder.

"Leonardo needs to rest. He can tell us about it tomorrow."

Master Splinter said before telling us all good night and returning to the dojo. We all exchanged looks before Donnie wrapped his arm around Leo's shoulders, in a brotherly way, and broke the silence.

"Wait until Tyler sees you, he's heard all about you."

He said with a smile.

"Hopefully only good things."

Leo laughed, causing everyone to laugh, everyone but me.

"Well Leo you must be exhausted. We'll let you get some rest."

Kelly said with a little bit of nervousness in her voice, and we all knew why.

"Well actually I wanted to see Isabelle. I went to her apartment and she wasn't there. So I figured she was here."

Leo said in an innocent way, curiosity in he's ocean blue eyes. Everyone's expressions in the room turned sad as where mine stayed angry. No one wanted to say it, it was like there was silent battle going on in everyone's mind. Finally Liz was the only one who had enough courage to say anything to him.

"She's not here Leo."

Liz said with an apologetic look in her face. The blue clad turtles face turned from hopeful to confused in a matter of seconds. He looked at her and then around the room at the rest of us.

"Where is she then?"

He asked.

"She's on a date. Got a problem with that fearless?"

I said causing everyone to look at  me with shocked looks on their faces, Leo's face however turned hard as rock, showing no emotion what so ever.

"Well good night guys I will see you in the morning."

Leo said as he turned his back to us and walked out of the lair into the darkness of the sewer. Once he was gone Chanel looked at me with a look of disbelief shaking her head, and turning her back to me.

"Chanel wait."

I said reaching out to grab her, she jerked her arm away from me, turning to give me a disappointed look.

"You are such a jerk Raph. You could have said it in an nicer way, but you just had to have attitude with it."

She said before she walked up stairs and into our bed room. I turned around to look at the others who were just shaking their heads and giving me looks of anger.

They all left one right after the other leaving me alone in the living room to think over what I had done.
