Leo's POV

Everything seemed to happen in slow motion, I watched in shock as Isabelle drove her blade into her stomach. The world seemed to stand still, no one really knowing what to do. Then as I watched her slowly pull the bloody blade back out of her stomach, she dropped it on ground causing blood to splatter.

It was then that I broke out of my shocked state and rushed forward, I reached her just as she began to crumble to the ground. Gently I wrapped my arm around her and sat her down on the ground.

"Isabelle?"

Panic was clear in my voice as I looked at her face, her sapphire blue eyes stared up at me with pain showing through them.

"L-leo?"

She muttered as winced in pain slightly. Chaos was going on around us as the the others began to battle, none of that mattered to me.

"You're going to be alright Belle."

I stated trying to reassure myself as I placed my hands on the wound. I tried to get the bleeding to slow down but it wasn't of any use.

"Stop Leo."

Isabelle spoke quietly as I started to look around me desperately looking for Donnie or Liz. I then noticed that Winter's had stabbed Takeshi in the side, putting an end to him meaning the curse had been broken.

"DONNIE!"

I yelled out as the bleeding seemed to increase, sorrow  began to fill my chest as I realized that there was no stopping what was about to happen. As tears began to fill in my eyes, I felt a soft touch on my check. Turning my head I saw Isabelle staring up at me, her hand was placed against my cheek, tears running own her eyes.

"Leo please just listen to m-me."

Her voice was so calm and I couldn't help but nuzzle my face against the palm of her hand. Anger and fear filled me as I felt began to feel  the life fading out of her.

"I'm listening Isabelle."

I said as she began to cough slightly causing more blood to spill out of her wound. I pulled her closer to me so that her head was in my lap, she cringed slightly from the pain.

"I need you t-to make me a p-promise."

Her voice was beginning to crack as tears started to build in her eyes. The fighting around us had stopped and the others were now watching us but I didn't care about what they were doing.

Isabelle's pulse was getting slower every second. When I didn't respond to what she had said she went on.

"Promise me t-that you w-will not le-eave again, after I'm gone."

My heart completely shattered as tears began to fall from my eyes. Out of instinct I placed one of my bloody hands on her cheek and the other on her arm that was extended touching my cheek.

"Your not going anywhere Isabelle."

She smiled at me slightly.

"Please p-promise me this L-leo."

Her pause was fading faster with every passing minute. I shook my head as the tears began to fall harder.

"I can't live without you."

She turned her head to look up at the ceiling as tears began to soak her face.

"You h-have to. Your family n-needs you."

Her sapphire orbs no longer seemed to have life in them as they became harder for her to hold open.

"They need you too Isabelle. Please, please don't leave me."

I clung to her arm a little tighter as her eyes fluttered shut and her breathing hitched slightly. She then spoke so low in a whisper that I almost missed it.

"I love you Leonardo."

Her arm went limp in my hand as her pulse came to a stand still. There was no longer any color in her face and her chest stopped moving. Desperation hit me as the tears  began to flow harder, I shook her limp body slightly.

"Isabelle? ISABELLE! PLEASE! PLEASE GOD NO!"

I screamed as I pulled her up into my arms burying my face in her chest that no longer had a heart beat. I bawled so hard that I began to shake, as the reality of the situation sat in.

I had lost the love of my life.
