There's stardust dripping from your eyelids
and your mouth is made of gold
your skin is porcelain,
and I am your madgalene .
They're rumours going around
now my feets have ears
they walk through every sound
fabulously I endure
every pain I have ensured
all the nuisance I had lured
just to feign I am mature
endlessly I feel
all the words said to me
all the words I conceal
and the hurt you caused me
our ashes are falling
there's fire everywhere
we speak in high tones
throwing words like arduous stones
our own bones are breaking
and our souls are missing
we fall into an endless circle
of guilt and forbidden love
of wretchedness
and an unusual discord
we fail to agonise
on how deep we have fallen
as we both recognize
that this love wasn't acting
we want to let it go
we try to walk away
but our heart is glued to each others
now all we can do is stay
this love is painful
and there isn't a gain
we are flowing again
in this contemptuous disdain .
